You can find 200 rd battle packs of US 7.62 147 gr FMJ for about the same price. If you save the brass you can sell it and save even more. A lot of guys looking for once fired GI brass right now.

that's the nicest public range I've ever seen. When I was living in PA we had a nice public range on state land, run by the DEC. Had some nice permanent benches, but no overhead cover.

Actually i kinda like the ten rounders. They are handier off the bench and lighter and easier to carry when hunting. Anything that sticks around for ten shots was already dead when you started. I have a translucent plastic 10 rd that works quite nicely.

I made the mistake of poppin' a couple pain pills and surfin' the auction sites. Now I got a bid in on a Delta Gold Cup I really don't need. MY buddy warned me to stay away from the net when bored(and stoned), but did I listen, NOOOOOOO.

I don't feel so bad now, I thought some of mine were a little big for match ammo. Makes it a lot tougher when you only have the five rounds and no do-overs.

I just received a CMMG two-stage for my Mark-4 clone, I'm anxious to try it out. unfortunately I had rotator cuff surgery yesterday, so it will be a while before I'm up to installing it. Even posting this is a PITA !!!

i think Midway has complete Bushmaster uppers in 6.8 on sale right now for $569. I was looking at one myself.

I was on the CMMG site ordering parts for my 22 conv. and I saw their two-stage trigger. The price was pretty reasonable so I ordered one. Let you know how I like it.

I'm disabled myself and I know what it's like when the Doc says sorry no more work for you. The trigger is a must and the next thing will be an adjustable stock, right after the stock will be a really good scope (can't hit what you can't see), then you can start shooting groups and see if the barrel is very good and what ammo it likes. I ordered the plate, the follower and spring, the charging handle, and a trigger( Drew's fault), but I couldn't find anywhere to order the forward assist.

I think it's another $200 for the suppressor.

I have a friend that keeps a piece of broomstick in his safe. When he wants to buy a gun he puts the broomstick in an old guncase and makes sure his wife sees him walk out with it. Then he puts the new gun in the case with the broomstick and makes sure his wife sees him walk in with the same old case he left with. SO far, no problems.

Just installed a steel charging handle on my little M4 clone. Can't believe what a difference it makes. Operates much smoother and is noticeably sturdier than aluminum part. It's definitely worth the extra money and weight.

There's a word for guys like that......enabler. He's making me buy HK parts too. At least thats what I tell my wife.

Gotta' help the 6.8 ammo situation, having more rifles chambered for it.
