Mine has been shipped, I had ordered my PRS in desert tan (just to be different) and they were out of stock, so I went with OD green. We will see what she looks like, I will post pics when shes together.

8.5-25x50 LR leupy or 5.5-25x50 Nightforce NXS would be my preferences

NICE FLEET! What scope are you going with on your LR308?

My first load 43gr Benchmark 150gr SMK and a WLR primer in new WW brass 2.795 OAL if I remember correctly. I also tried a 155gr Hornady Amax over the same load. The SMK is an extremely accurate load and seems very mild in my rifle. I have shot two 5 shot groups with the SMK and both were very tight in the .3-.4in range at 100yds. I will update as I work up loads as I have lots of different bullets/powders to try...

I am an avid reloader and have only shot Federal powr shok 150gr sp in my LR308 and it shoots that cheap stuff like a house on fire! $13 a box and it shoots under .5moa!!! I was very impressed. It is also interesting to see another post good accuracy from that ammo.

Thanks for the heads up, I saved some dough on my prs. I went on their site per your link, registered and sent them an email. It took about an hour and I was good to go. I couldnt see the member prices until after a couple more hours, probably just a glitch in their system.... The prices are really good and I got an order coming, so I will let you guys know how it goes. I got a PRS coming for my LR308 and they had a good price on blackhawk holsters so I picked one up for my H&K USP Tactical. $17

That's a great buy, I can't believe nobody's snatched it up yet...

I just installed a single stage Jard in my LR308 and I am very happy with it so far. I have been using these triggers in ar15s for several years, but since this is my first 308, I have not got to try one out. The trigger is very smooth and breaks nice at about 1.5lbs. The first time I fired the rifle with the new trigger I got a double tap because I wasn't holding the gun, I just had it resting on the bags and was trying to pull a nice group with some freshly loaded 150smks. I have since shot it several times with no more double taps, I just have to make sure I'm holding the rifle (slight pressure) I went with the 1.5lb spring and I would suggest a little more, I think I am going to order a 2 or 2.5 lb spring for it. I have always used the 1.5lb springs with no trouble, but with the heavier recoil of the 308 it makes double taps a lot more likely.

I have a Leupold 4.5-14 Tactical on my LR308 and it works great, I love the target knobs and the fact that it is fairly compact. I also have several of the LR Leupys on my bolt guns and comp scopes on my bench guns. I would like to try a 5.5-22 NXS Nightforce if I can find a reasonable one second hand.

X2 on keeping the 24. I have the 24" on mine and have had her out to 400 with awesome accuracy. I think the 24 is a great fit on the rifle, although I will agree it is heavy, if you want to peel some weight you could have it fluted... Good luck

Any opinions on where to buy from, I have seen most listed around the $242 mark, but saw some for like 189 w free shipping? Any ideas on why the big difference?
