Those are for AR15 not 308, and I cant find one for a 308. One thing I have learned on here is if it dont state its for 308 its best not to use it.

Is your Block white or black? I know you said you did not order from Brownells , but they have 2 one is black and one is the DPMS white. I am fixin to order one and I would hate to get in that bad batch.

I called them and the guy said they dont sell to the public. They are a manufactor and distributor. He gave a number to his number 1 dealer. I will call them tomarrow and let yall know what is found.

Well apparently I can't get the upper in FailZero and OD even though the website let me do it. Si thought it was so much trouble for me that they went ahead and installed the ejection port cover and forward assist on the upper FOR FREE. Now that is costumer service. <thumbsup>

Who knows about Black Rain Ordnance. I got one of there brosures and so I called them. The guy said the make there own blanks.

Called Si and they said there blanks are made from someone local. They said they have used Krieger but not anymore. Rainer Arms said a company called chillin makes there blanks. So ................

OK guys what do you suggest on barrels. Rainer Arms OR Si Defence? WHY? Also I am for sure going with an 18" Barrel, so my question is. Does an 18" take a mid-lenght gas tube?

Just from looking at it I would say so. It looks like it is built off the Armalite plateform.

Well today I went to the long awaited gun show. I got a complete MAID kit and 13.8 Troy FF quad rail and bungee sling and 2 holsters and a 4oz brass/nylon hammer also got my wife a 5 million volt taser. Then when I got home like 30 minutes ago I ordered the Si Defence Gen III No Fail in OD. <thumbsup>

They are coming out with one. It should hit the market in about 6 months and it is suppose to look sick.

So why cant you call the company and let them know the problem? I would let them know for sure I was not happy with the product or purchase. They may say keep it and send you another.
