Char has been watching elk hunting and mule deer hunting shows all this summer..so last night she informs me that we need to go to New Mexico or Southern Colorado for a road trip and go hunt those suckers this October. I started looking up hunts.....geez...those are wallet drainers for sure....she's dead serious.....where do I start the search for an outfitter? Oh, and no camping out either...she's okay with horseback but wants to be in the lodge at night.... We surely cant afford a bull elk hunt,but maybe a cow or doe? Help :) Wash

Our temps have been lower here...only 100 for highs ,but mostly 95/97 We did have a gully washer sunday which ruined our Hunters Extravaganza high...my buddy came over and we were in the garage changing out his 308 barrel when Char came runnin into the garage saying we got water in the house......crap....water in the living room....we went into the attic...dry as a bone went outside and the water was running so hard it was spilling over the gutter hitting the side of the house and coming in thru there....crap....ruined the floor.....
