Powerman seems that the only thing left to swap out? You did all the function tests right? You held muzzle down and let bcg drop in to see if it binds or goes into almost full battery...gas tube is straight? right? charging handle lets the gas tube go thru it right? chamber by now should be gtg.. locks back on one round/...right? I still would go to basics and put the dpms buffer/spring in there though...I also one time a had a mismachined buffer tube,but the rifle wouldnt lock back...drove me crazy till i found that. We all know its a timing probelmo...just a thought :) Wash

Its like what survival said...could be bolt bounce..cause its locking back....you need to somehow try a dpms bcg rather than the jp to eliminate the jp bcg as a problem :) Wash

Way to go powerman! I just got an hkusp9compact...put meprolight night sights on it,but fubared the rear,so ive got another coming...using the standard rear for now...put the reduced hammer spring in it,but tell me how hard is the extended mag drop to put in? The HK runs awesome...just cant get used to the dead on hold where you cover up the target...instead of the 6 oclock hold....getting used to that congrats on a fine piece :) Wash

Hay Sketch meprolights green nights.....II got the front no problemo....i try fitted the rear several times then go back to filing the sight....so on the last tap in with a nylon punch it was going good till it got stuck...lol....I shed a lil tear as I cut the brand new rear with a dremel so I could remove it....lol daaaamn the bad luck :) Wash

So Me and Char went shooting last night. still getting used to the HK and its dead on hold sight picture fubared the rear night sight while installing,so ive got front nights and the HK standard rear sight.shoots to the left a lil and ive only got 150 down the pipe.ill adjust when the new rear night sights come in...of course Char puts em center mass with her STI :) Wash Char's target

Beach I think you got er done!....as long as the detent is captured dont screw the tube in any more...looks good from here.....you are on the right path by getting a new tube ...buffer and spring wet her down a lil....do lockback function....if gtg then ill bet she shoots great :) Wash
