I think I'd rather buy a known optic with QD mount than invest in what is probably a questionable scope. Now I think I'll talk myself into it.

I just checked with one of our wholesalers and can get the 5.56 MVP Patrol with flash suppressor and compact 3-9x32 illuminated retical scope for $593. Is that scope worth a damn?

Keep in mind the Mosin's greatest charm is being cheap. If you're thinking of spending real money then I believe better options are available.

We have a Kimber Custom Shop Ultra Raptor II in stock at the shop. It's a very nice looking/handling subcompact. I'd be owning it now if I hadn't just bought a Boberg 45. I do own a Kimber Rimfire Target 1911-22 and it's a wonderful pistol.
