  1. Maybe a 9mm AR pistol? Or a carbine?
  2. I want to get rid of the plastic thumb hole stock I installed on my MAK-90 years ago and replace it with conventional AK wooden furniture. I'm not sure about the 922r compliance requirements so need advice on what to buy and what will fit it's stamped receiver. Thanks.
  3. Hard to go wrong with SIG. <thumbsup>
  4. Hello and welcome.
  5. It's use has been required since July 9, 2012. Beside the above mentioned the biggest change is that resident aliens are no longer required to provide proof of residency for the previous 90 days. They are treated exactly like citizens now with the exception that their INS # is still required. This makes our job much, much easier.
  6. The little Smith's owner's manual warns against bullets lighter than 120 grns because of gas cutting of the scandium/aluminum alloy top strap. As a matter of fact the 340PD has a steel insert in the top strap above the forcing cone to help prevent this.
  7. It only weighs 11.4 oz. This thing is stupid lightweight.
  8. S&W mod 340PD 11.4oz j-frame .357Mag revolver. <thumbsup>
  9. I saw it and was definitely entertained. <thumbsup>
  10. Cool. Did it arrive in good condition?
  11. Is this a good thing or bad thing? I want to respond appropriately. ;D Congratulations to you both.
  12. You got it. PM sent.
  13. Seconds? As in blemished? How do I tell? I just realized. You meant second in line. Duh!
  14. We have two of these in stock NIB. They look pretty good. I'm thinking of picking one up. I can get it for $75. I already own a Surefire M900A and believe it one of the best, albeit big, weapons lights I've ever seen. I was wondering if anyone has any input about the 660? Does the 660 live up to it's big brother M900A standards?
  15. Took awhile but finally got a Timney. Haven't installed it yet. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.
  16. Thanks for the great suggestions guys. It gives me a starting point.
  17. I really like this rifle with the exception of the trigger. It's OK I guess, but I want better. I want to use a drop in trigger but I don't know poop from shinola. Suggestions?
  18. I liked the shooting, although he didn't seem to know how many rounds his pistol held. I like that he posted the video on his daughter's facebook page wall, just like she had posted the nasty little letter that started the whole incident. I think he should have left the cigarette out of his video. I think I would've liked to have seen the family dog take a dump on the laptop keyboard as well. Can you train a dog to do that on cue? ;D
  19. Your daughter probably doesn't snore like you. ;D
  20. Oh, so I'm not the only one who thinks Will Hayden is a jerk/joke (you pick)? Thank God! Since the show is still on the air I thought it was just me. The show is more about Steph's muffin top than about firearms.
  21. It comes with a 9mm barrel, 12lb recoil spring & 9mm extractor in the box for conversion to 9mm. The recoil spring installed with the .22TCM barrel is only 7lbs. It feels like a .22lr conversion in terms of energy required to retract the slide. A 4 year old could do it. Loads 18+1 in .22TCM & 17+1 in 9mm. No .22TCM ammo was available. I hope it's not a sign of things to come.
  22. will be here next week. Photos to follow. WooHoo!
