Manzella is definitely a straight shooter Edgecrusher! Potential buyers should have no reservations in this deal!

500 pieces of once fired brass marked FC 308 WIN for sale. I have them broken down into 100 rd (with a few extra for good measure) bags for $30 shipped or take all 500 for $130 shipped, payment via paypal. The brass was all fired out of my AR 308, walnut tumbled for 2 hrs, then de-primed. Pm if if interested. Edit: Last of the 308 sold, pending funds. I have a few other calibers, mostly 9mm, .45, and 5.56/.223. I just haven't sorted it all yet, but let me know if you're looking for something specific and I'll see what I have.

Rear sight/ carry handle is in the mail brother.

Are you still looking for the rail panels? I should have some Knights Armament ones in the garage.
-
I also found a DPMS A2 front sight post as well. It's a pre ban, not sure if that was what you're looking for or not.

Okay, I have one, but it's not an A2 or A4. It's actually a carbine. It has 6/3 elevation marks instead of 8/3. It also has a little bit of wear marks on it. PM an offer if interested. I'll put a picture up as soon as I figure out how to resize it.

I may still have an A2 carry around. I'll take a look and let you know.

Oops, sorry about that Unforgiven! That was supposed to be a reply to BLKSHEEP's topic "what do you do for a living?" I totally did not intend to change the focus of your topic. Not sure what happened there.

Can you get your hands on Tri-tip where you're at, if so let me know, or just google "Santa Maria style tri-tip." The most important part is that it's cooked with a good wood, oak is preffered.

11 yrs and counting as Marine CH-53E crew chief, "door gunner" for those who don't know. Still trying to figure out the next step. Special Operations sounds like a blast, plus you get to play with more things that go boom!

Also, keep in mind that military ID cards are not supposed to be copied either. Even though it always gets done as a method of verification. I usually "blacken" a portion out when I submit verification via military ID copy. That usually meets the intent of the vendors vcerification and covers the DOD security concerns.

What made you decide to move to the 308 AR/AR-10 Platform?
mac83 replied to imschur's topic in General Discussion
Built the 308 to build up a variety, it's definitley my favorite to shoot though. Mossy XD- There is a ton of info on barrels here. Are you going to be hiking with it, or keeping it on the bench. I need to look back through, but I think that 18" is about the sweet spot for the 308. I went with 20", it's also what the military has on their 308 semi-autos. Check out Fulton Armory, but the options are limitless. -
What did you end up going with. I'm looking to build a 6.8 myself after this deployment is over.

Okay, no worries, thank you!

Has the Mil/LEO board been moved? It's been a few months since I've been on, (currently in Afghanistan,) and I'm not seeing the button on my home page anymore. Thank you!

Thanks guys. And thanks again for all the help. I have found that I almost enjoy building these things as much as shooting them.

I'm always down to meet up for a shoot Robocop. Although, I probably wont have a chance to make it up to NorCal until after my upcoming deployment. But let me know if you venture south in the next two months.

I know this is kind of an old topic, but my ASC mags have worked flawlessly in my JD build.

Alright, it's done! Pictures as promised, taken with my phone so the quality isn't great. The specs remain the same as the original post, with the following exceptions. * Barrel- Fulton Armory 20" M110 1:12, blackened through JD Machine. * Bolt- Fulton Armory * Gas Block- Fulton Armory clam style .875 * RAS- DD 7.62 Lite * Muzzle- Smith Vortex * Scope- Leupold Mark 4 3.5-10x40mm LR/T M3 * Scope mount- Night Force Uni-Mount 20 MOA * Bi-Pod- Harris S-Series BRM w/ Larue Tactical QD This thing is a blast to shoot. Haven't gotten a true zero yet. Only a BZO, by having a spotter call adjustments. It's pretty close, but we weren't shooting an true ranged targets, and it was with the bi-pod on a wobbly table. But, I love it! Thanks for everyones inputs.
