  1. Negatron ghost Rider...just sharing info on a new product I saw. No rule invocation here lol
  2. My dissy is being reworked right now lol. Been liquidating spare parts to pay for it. Was thinking if swapping the comp on it for a FH anyway, so depending on budget I might give this a shot
  3. http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2016/09/21/wilson-combats-new-q-comp-keeps-things-quiet/ Looks cool. No flash, some compensation, reduced side blast. Wonder if it works?
  4. These came on a scope I just got and are too low for anything I own. Smith Enterprise 30mm low rings. .25" from rail to bottom of ring. Well used and worn but are solid. All screws in good shape. I'll snap more pics when I get home. $40 shipped seem reasonable? http://www.smithenterprise.com/products08.html
  5. SOLD
  6. Marines actually get something new? Not hand-me-down army equipment?
  7. Since you are modding them, I'd probably check if guntech or UTG pro meet your size needs. Inexpensive and most report good quality.
  8. Didn't they just release a 1-8x as well?
  9. I have a little feeler gauge set that I use, but you could use anything. A cut stack of index cards would work. Basically just set the scope on the rail. Add or remove cards until you have it at a perfect height. Throw a strip of masking tape around it so you can get a good feel for it. Measure the stack and compare that to available mounts. Just remember some mounts measure from the rail to the bottom of the ring while some measure from rail to center line.
  10. I always like to wait until I have the scope in hand before I order the mount. You can mock it up and know exactly what height and extension range will work for you instead of guessing.
  11. And only half the price of the elite iron
  12. Not a Glock fanboy, and don't even own one....but I'd guess the only reason anyone ever beats Glock in these shakedowns is because they supply more hookers and blow to the decision makers.
  13. you may have missed the point...
  14. Or in Clintons case...long before.
  15. That was awesome.
  16. Spit coffee. Wonder how much of that she was ready for. Looked like she meant it when she said she regretted doing it.
  17. I went back in and ordered wifee a pair of those shoes and those cargo pants. $20 for 5/11 pants is too good to pass. We get the TDUs for work and they are really tough and well made.
  18. Not mesh, but very light and thin. They feel delicate when you pick them up, but they have exceeded expectations many times over. I wear them at the day job, and the night job, and still throw them on off duty. I wore them at the tucson gem show walking 12 hour shifts for six days, and then the vegas gem show walking 115 hours over 8 days. Tread is just starting to get chewed up, and not a popped stitch anywhere. I planned on buying a new pair at normal price so $35 is a no brainer. I will say they have zero insulation, so very cold in the winter.
  19. The shoes were right with my normal size. I'm always 10.5 and these were just right. The greenish ones were already out but I got replacement black and the tan ones.
  20. https://www.slickguns.com/product/50-web-specials-over-99-code-abrws50-511-tactical?mobile=true 50℅ off $100 in the web specials section. I just ordered 2 pair of those tactical trainers for $35 each. Love those shoes.
  21. If the ammo doesn't make a difference... Maybe try a different rear sight to eliminate that possibility? and maybe try mounting the rear sight further forward to eliminate the possibility that the rail is slightly out of spec. Mount an optic to see if it behaves the same. Just start eliminating things.
  22. Lol nice. Should be here tomorrow. The universe doesn't want me to hit the range. I've set a day every week for the past 3 months and some catastrophe always shows up. I'm thinking Ill put it on the 18" rifle I sold to my father in law so I can steal my Weaver tac back.
  23. Guess I'm the guinea pig here? Lol.
  24. My SPR is 1:8 and its a laser with 45g varmint stuff...and 77g otm. It's not a fan of 55-62 and the groups open up quite a bit with some mild poi shift. I know plenty of people with 1:7s that shoot 55s decent. 55 is still the most common plinking ammo purchased so if 1:7 didn't shoot it, 1:7 barrels wouldn't be so common on factory guns. Barrels like what they like, but I really doubt twist rate is the issue with that colt.
  25. Lol I remember guys not even firing at the 300y engagement and saving the bullet for a closer miss. You can still get sharpshooter without them ?
