  3. Politics and tax's aside the Chicago skyline is one of the most beautiful. What our Union brothers and sisters have built is nothing short of amazing. To bring a concept into reality with steel and glass. I wish I had more pictures. A legacy that will last the test of time. Worse part of working downtown was parking where the early bird @$20.00 a day wasn't bad. Good times, thanks for the kind words brothers πŸ»πŸ»πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
  4. Museum of contemporary art completed 1996. Myself and another Sheet metal worker built the metal housing Artist put in the lens. Took the wife into the city for some R&R.
  5. Welcome from Indiana brother and thank you for your service.
  6. We grew up with Steve Jobs, Johnny Cash, and Bob Hope. Now there's no jobs,no cash, and no hope. Please don't let anything happen to Kevin Bacon πŸ₯“

  8. They saved my ass coming down from the roof on a highrise and the roof hatch let go and hit me right in the fukin head. On a vertical steel ladder 20' off the mechanical room floor. Always had mine spun so I didn't get $hit going down the back of my neck. 2of 4 kids wanted the other 2. The one with the flag took a Johnson bar hit that threw me 10' into a pile of debris. First hat when I started my time my mom just gave me the sticker a couple of days before.
  9. Congratulations brother I hope you have a long and healthy retirement 🍻🍻
  10. It was news to me. I used fiberglass American Bridge hat I hated the plastic ones.

  14. O'lady knows exactly what I spent she does the bills line by line It is so much fun putting the rifles together with all the best parts.
  15. Good write up brother, with the big gun grab I think it opened up the Turkish market. From pistols to Shotty's
  16. Hahaha 🍻🍻 battle of the undead
  17. Thanks bro
  18. I have found that these newer grips with a more vertical angle makes it more comfortable also a fan of BCM stubby foregrip that I flip around for a slight hook.
  19. That is kind of you to say brother same to everyone here.
  20. 40 years in industry, 30 as a Sheet metal worker damn snips cutting 20/22ga. having snapped the jaws of my snips cutting heavy metal didn't help. Carpal tunnel surgery to my hands took something out of them. Also the continuous use of snips afterwards. It's easy for the doctor to say change jobs but not reality. They couldn't do it if they had to. I am comforted that R2 would act as executor for any firearms remaining should something unexpected occurs. 🍻🍻
  21. Well I might as well come clean also, I have been thinning out my box. I'm lucky to still be here and as it works out I have no one in the family that deserves any of my firearms. I asked my close friends if they would be interested in my rifles and they were. Down to 2 .308s,2 5.56.. Now I can focus on those. Less for the wife to deal with when the ride ends. One thing about using the basic recipe for building rifles here is that they work with boring reliability 😁 a couple of guys here were interested in a couple of rifles and I couldn't be happier. I have a RRA lower and the 6mm Arc is interesting πŸ€” but I think that's it. My hands are in such bad shape I sold the.45 Xdm as I was having a very difficult time manipulating the slide. So ends my confession.
  22. Truth family that shoots together stays together, unless someone has mental health issues that would be know to parents that are actually involved with the family.
  23. Sorry for your loss brother
  24. 🍻🍻 very cool 😎
  25. I'm just a dum Sheet metal worker πŸ€”
