Have read applying oil with finger a little more than light,RRA says spread notches 120deg. some say not necessary others say don't need them and one company has a one piece set.How long do they last and when do you need to change them or how do you know you need to change them ???.Shoot on bros.

I'm third generation union steelworker U.S.Steel then became a Sheet Metal worker out of Chicago local,I fish kids are grown have 4 grandkids take them fishing,do all around home repair and remodel,carpentry,electrical[used to be a digital troubleshooter]plumbing,fabricator metal wood welder all process all positions.I have worked with cranes and helicopters.I have spent 30+ years helping build America objects that will last the test of time.It pales in comparison to what my wife does she is a critical care nurse with 30+ years of experience.I also have a 03 custom superglide[H.D.].Shoot on bro. :sniper:

Just like the other guys once I got used to the 5.56 then got a .308 bolt but was not comfortable for me to shoot and you lose your spot weld when you pull the bolt.Since I became familiar with the operation and maintenance .308 AR was the next move got lucky searching for info after buying rifle and found you guys glad I did I have learned a lot and continue to learn.You guys are also nice to communicate with, this posting is a first for me and a lot of fun and for me anyway am happy with my Rock River products.Shoot on brothers. <thumbsup>
