  1. "We"? Because of your split personality? Because it's your turn SS, that's why.
  2. Yup. Mulies are where we really start to shine on deer size.
  3. I think we all go through that. Faster faster!! Then it gets to "Sure would be nice to hit the target consistently."
  4. Take the .300BLK and load up some .25 caliber pills with sabots!
  5. As someone stated in some of the .25-40 Sharps literature, it was specifically designed as a hunting round for states where .223/.22 centerfire ammo is disallowed for hunting. I have it on good authority that, unlike Arizona, whitetails in other states are bigger than standard poodles.
  6. This was going around several years ago and was easily proved bullcrap. Now, if a person were going to make the case about Cerberus/Freedom Group/Soros buying up firearms companies, I'd say they've succeeded by driving down quality control, abandoning customer service, and generally ruining once great names in the industry.
  7. Well, maybe Tom. But not SNKEBIT!
  8. Welcome from Arizona!
  9. It's been awhile since we've seen Bobby in here, doing his swim for Veteran suicide prevention. Karl of InRangeTV bumped into a Vet walking the country to raise awareness too:
  10. Interesting. I checked and it looks like the old .25-20 is 1:12 all the way up to 1:20, while the .25-06 is a 1:10. Surely this little sharps won't be punching out pills as heavy as .25-06.
  11. Comment preserved for future prosperiety and purposes of manipulation.
  12. A trilogy, starting with the Spanish-only "El Mariachi," which made so much money going straight to VHS the studios picked up the two sequels.
  13. You betch'ya big boy! This morning I saw used industrial dough rollers on Craigslist. That may be another option for you.
  14. There is a little shop down on 4th Ave. that sells all kinds of foam. I bought some 1" thick dense sheet there but they had all sorts of foam, from wavy to egg crate to, well, more foam than I knew there was. I think it was A Foam & Fabric Place. Watch out for patchouli scented hippies with man buns.
  15. Are there restaurant suppliers in your area? The small Mom & Pop ones around here have screaming deals on industrial restaurant grade stuff. One went so far as to give us the name of one of his suppliers, said to call and tell them it doesn't need to be certified (something like NRC or NHC certified). Apparently that certification doubles or triples the price of equipment, which of course is mandated to be used in a restaurant.
  16. Blew my mind when Cali said nobody could pickup used fryer oil, unless they had a license and paid a $300,000 bond. Got to shut down those home biodiesel operations.
  17. Welcome from Arizona!
  18. According to U.S. mainstream (fake) news, "a man tried to steal a soldiers rifle at the airport." According to this British source, it was a radicalized mooselimb: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/paris-orly-airport-attack-shooting-suspect-radicalised-muslim-terror-isis-france-security-services-a7636496.html
  19. Will that work with a particle laser?
  20. Everyone else is basically reduced to foot soldiers now: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/lockheed-martin-completes-battle-laser-122919965.html And this is what they are telling us about. You younger vets, think about what you saw while in and where that technology is now. You older vets, well we're just old.
  21. Yup. RSO'ing at the range, I've had people pack it up when it gets hot. Shooting isn't that important to them. The shootists go to their vehicle and get a work glove for their support hand.
  22. Faxon Interview Part 2:
  23. Truth. Tom could testify about people at Appleseed shoots asking "Does anyone have a towel so I can keep my rifle cool?"
  24. Very nice! That shape is very close to a classic Japanese tanto. Not the modern Americanized sharp angular tip. The classic deep-puncture, combat researched shape.
