  1. Boy is the girl going to be surprised the next time she does some archery.
  2. Wow. The government failed on many, many levels on this dude (who also now has a mooselimb name). Served papers for domestic violence, which he violated, was given his firearm back afterwards (after the psych eval), relatives begging the FBI and police to do something about his erratic behavior, which was also reported by his employer.
  3. Welcome from Arizona!
  4. /\/\/\/\ That's akin to how sliding a dollar bill between the stock and barrel came to demonstrate "no contact" between the two.
  5. Seems like that would reduce wind drift too.
  6. I wonder if the floating case holder sort of "wiggles" the case out of the sizing die, as opposed to brute "yanking" of a fixed holder, allowing the brass to stay put instead of flowing.
  7. With .308 Winchester? Not much if you train. Two extra inches at 18" is a nice compromise between rigidity 16" and velocity of the 20". Or you could do a carbon fiber wrapped barrel for the rigidity.
  8. We had a dude that used one of these on his deer rifles. Adjust the position on the barrel to the load he was using, sub-1/2 MOA all day. Came in and bought a new one about every 8 months. That's a LOT of shooting! If the OP is that worried about barrel whip/harmonics, he needs a 16" barrel. Shorter is more rigid. People were getting match rifle accuracy out of Ruger's M77 Compact off the shelf, and those have a thin tapered barrel. At least he won't have to deal with an op-rod or piston mass slamming back and forth.
  9. /\/\/\/\ So that's where the term "morning wood" came from.
  10. Saw that. My bad.
  11. And the Naval Yard shooting. The unit which, by the way, was investigating Oblahma.
  12. Looks like we best be building a fence on that northern border.
  13. /\/\/\/\ Convenient. Two weeks for Oblahma to wage war on guns, the military, and freedom. I still want to know where the ammo was stashed, since he is a "lone gunman."
  14. Rhetorical question but: How the phuck would they know that already?! Nevermind that you can check guns but not ammo.
  15. They report the news. MSM needs to tailor their "news" to match their programming.
  16. Five or six shot down as of now: https://www.yahoo.com/news/reports-multiple-people-shot-ft-lauderdale-airport-182643841.html
  17. /\/\/\/\ Probably the same as the hashish trade. Drugs are against islam but you can pay a tax to make it okay.
  18. LE and military intelligence reports of ISIS groups partnered with Mexican drug cartels, grouped along our southern border and at least one training location also: http://www.wnd.com/2017/01/islamic-terror-cells-shift-from-mideast-to-u-s-mexican-border/ With calls from the left to "do what's necessary before January 20," we all need to be on our toes. Especially those of us along the border.
  19. I've had a couple of Taurus. They've been hit or miss for me. PT92 - hit, twice PT22 - two misses (one was good after repair but the trust was spoiled) PT1911 9mm - hit PT945 - hit 65 - partial hit/partial miss Students have had about the same hit or miss with them. Great for range toys.
  20. Probably got it because someone told him it's more meritorious than the MOH.
  21. Welcome from Arizona! You have pics of that rifle? Or the bike? Or the rifle on the bike?
  22. We use a PT-92AF for the MILO system. Use it to simulate revolvers, until we can get the proprietary revolver attachment.
