  1. I love that comment, "This must have been back when he was Michael Less."
  2. Hard to believe this is a "young Michael Moore" except for the whiney voice. This is posted entirely for the first comment under the video, if you click "Watch On YouTube":
  3. Hits everyone hard:
  4. The all-time supreme master of barrel "whip" are the early spaghetti-barreled Ruger Mini-14s: thin barrel, moving mass 1/3 the weight of the barrel. You won't have an issue with any AR based rifle.
  5. Welcome from Arizona!
  6. Welcome from Arizona!
  7. "The United States has a government for the people, of the people, and by the people. Now, look around you." I always heard it as "The loudest noise in the world is a bang when you want a click and a click when you want a bang."
  8. Get the 930 Jerry Miculek special! 24" barrel and the mag extension on some stick out an extra 1 1/2"!
  9. Welcome from Arizona!
  10. They (wild hogs) are very nomadic when it comes to the food supply. There is a hack (herd-pack) here on the other side of Reddington Pass, coincidentally where some organic farms are located. Where my Dad put hogs on his land in barren west Texas, they hung out until they realized they weren't penned anymore, leaving for greener pastures.
  11. Wild boars are like prolific coyotes. They are spreading everywhere and spreading fast.
  12. Another welcome from AZ!
  13. Like a front driveshaft on a truck, for instance?
  14. There's a dude over on a levergun forum who regularly shoots their clubs "service rifle" match with his .30-30, getting better scores that over half the field. Of course he doesn't get an official score because it isn't an official service rifle. Their match goes out to 400 yards.
  15. The post so nice the server did it twice!
  16. When I was training my brother for ranch duty, we were driving back from the ranch one afternoon and saw a station wagon with what appeared to be an entire milkshake glued to the side of the rear left quarter panel. Pulling up next to the rear seat, two boy perfectly still and quiet with that "Oh shite!" look on their face. Passing the front of the car, Mom had obviously blown her top and had enough, just starting to feel the guilt pangs of whatever screaming fit she'd had over the milkshake incident.
  17. Aren't those Officer's ACP 1911s the most finicky of any 1911 derivative? Smartazz. He means like a .380 blowback operated.
  18. I can remember being on the low-end of the payscale thinking "Man, those truck payments are high. And for 2 years of financing!" Then they came out with 36-month financing. Now they're up to like 6 or 7 years of financing. I'll buy a horse and cart first.
  19. Those are a little bigger than the Boberg though.
  20. Thanks to this post I've been perusing this webpage for an hour now: https://www.cerakoteguncoatings.com/gallery/
  21. To allow the use of a longer barrel, in a more compact pistol. Placing the ammo suppy under the breech, they can move the barrel back like 1.5" or so. The design isn't new. There was somebody messing around with this type of feeding system back in the birthing years of semi-automatic pistols. Can't remember the name right now.
