  1. I'm thinking either Wyoming or Arizona, as both of those states have already passed laws telling feds :fawkdance: and passing their own "guns allowed" laws. As far as an available manufacturing base, there are lots of unemployed workers that want to work here in AZ. I would hope that MagPul offers incentives to move their employees but not all will take it. Jon
  2. That's looking good, bro! <thumbsup> <munch> Jon
  3. "Whoa, dude...did you feel the headrush I got from that hit? Dude? DUDE!!??" <laughs> Jon
  4. And a one man bang too! <thumbsup> For the right woman, he'll put the two together. <laughs> Jon
  5. It is going to take US to make these BIG companies feel the heat! S & W and Ruger measure their civilian sales in the MILLIONS. Last year Ruger met and surpassed their Million Gun goal by 500,000 and stopped taking orders, due to the need to catch up. Send them emails, send them letters! Remington (just got the M-4 contract), Colt, FN, there is NO way they will risk their military contracts. Glock won't risk the 70% of their law enforcement market share now. "Shooters forget that a firearm is only a means by which to fire a certain ammunition." NRA BPSHB This is where it gets sticky. The ammunition manufacturers need to be onboard. Above and beyond the ammo makers, powder only comes from a small handful of manufacturers around the world...and they ALL have government/military contracts. <<<<<<period Blow off 95% of our ammo supplies in one big disorganized clusterfcuk and we're done. If the groups near the powder makers aren't working to get control of those facilities (should the crap hit), we're working from stockpiles. Jon
  6. Tom! Jon
  7. We're raffling off 4 Winchester ES custom rifles right now, serial numbered "1 of _" up through 4. Calibers are .22-250, .270 Winchester, .300 Win Mag, and .375 Holland & Holland. We're going to make cake off those, then teach Boy Scouts how to shoot and pay for Youth Skeet Club. Jon
  8. In Arizona, while there are a couple of gumptard bills, there are more which are beneficial to the firearms community. Bills have been introduced to: get rid of the upper age restriction on unorganized militia members (was 45, Tom was sweating it), to standardize training and allocate funds for training of the unorganized militia, ensuring that there will be NO restrictions on proper rifles or pistols for the same, ensuring that confiscated firearms will no longer be destroyed by municipalities (which is already against the law), and that those siezed arms are resold in a manner to benefit the UO militia. Additionally are upgrades to verbage more properly defining a firearm as one that uses hot gas from a burning powder or burning propellant (not a compressed gas) to expel a projectile. Battle lines are being drawn!! http://www.azcdl.org/html/bill_tracking.html Jon
  9. I hope you aren't holding your breath. Jon

  11. tucson308, I'm here in town and will be needing one pretty soon...bolt and carrier. Probably anything else you make too. <laughs> Jon
  12. MagPul on FB posted that a local politico, Salazar, basically said "You can stay here and still sell to other states." Scumbag. Magazines are evil but you can sell them someplace else. Jon
  13. Cool thing is I can use that stuff up pretty fast just on the girl's stuff and maybe a customer or two. Then it'll be time for the Cerakote! <thumbsup> Jon
  14. Sheikey! I forgot the pic! Jon
  15. Purple that Angie picked. It looks almost black in artificial light, like grape Crush in sunlight (or grape Jolly Ranchers). Jon
  16. Decided since I ordered enough pink and purple to coat several guns, to do the slide on the XDm 4.5. This is going to be in the goddess purple Dura Coat, with the Heine tritium Straight-8s uptop. Jon
  17. But in between off-whacking sessions today, I decided to do this also: Jon
  18. ...just tell them Jon
  19. Careful now. I'll tell them how you really got the white spot on the back of your head. The girl has a couple of days off this week for Rodeo. We'll finish it then, so she knows how to put it together. After she learns how to finish prepping and spraying. <thumbsup> Jon
