Well, he did it anyway! We had friends & family over for a cookout with Josh, and after everyone else had left and we went to bed he popped the question! I just found out at lunch, and yes, she said yes. This kid throws me more curve balls than a major league pitcher! His FIANCE said she told her dad this morning and he wasn't upset, just said "Okay". We are supposed to go to dinner with her folks after graduation tonight. Hopefully it will be a great time together. Update; I found out last night that his fiance's dad also said "Well, the kid's got balls!" <lmao>

I don't think it has anything to do with production. In the second email Ms. Flores sent me she stated that they were running at full production and that eventually I would be able to purchase my mags from one of their distributors. That was the 'too bad, so sad' email I referred to.

Ha! When I married my first wife we had a judge marry us and she wasn't even talking to her dad at that time. That marriage lasted 11 years. When I married my present wife I told her I wanted to do it in our church, maybe that way it would 'take' this time. Must have worked, we've been married 26 years now. <lmao>

Well, he talked to her mother this AM after talking to the father again. He has decided to back off for now because he doesn't want to put the girlfriend in the middle of a dispute and wants to be the better man. He ain't happy though! I told him early on I was 100% behind whatever he decided because I know he will make the decision that's best for those involved. Kid is smart like that, unlike his stubborn, hard headed dad! ::)

Hey Rob, I still have my PR-24! It's one of the early aluminum versions, none of the breakable plastic stuff for me. The douchebag that I went to the academy with tried to take it from me when he was captain and they issued ASP batons. (The only reason he was captain was because I refused the position.) I told him to piss off and when he went whining to the Chief the Chief told him I was certified to use it and I could keep it. <lmao>

My ISP is Century Link and I do have an email addy with that account. I forgot about that, I've never used it. I'll give it a try. That worked. Thanks Blue! <thumbsup>

If I can get him to sit down and do it I'll get both. He's dealing with his girlfriend's dad right now. She graduates tomorrow night (she's 18) and he intends to propose to her on the football field where he played and she graduates, after the graduation. Seems her dad (actually stepfather but raised her since she was 2) is against it because he feels she is too young. I've known this young lady for several years and she's very mature for her age. He doesn't plan on getting married for at least another year.

Well Tom, I tried but couldn't get registered. Seems they consider every email account I have (3) as anonymous email accounts and wouldn't let me register. WTF is up with that bullpoopy! I can't see opening a half dozen email accounts to find something that meets their standards!

Josh sent me the video of his mag dump, but the sound didn't make it! It's not very interesting without the sound. I need to get him to sit down and just download it straight from his phone to my computer, but he has been on the go since he got home. I will try my best to get him to do it before we leave for LAX Saturday, it's a pretty good clip with the sound!

Well, I'm pretty disappointed with Magpul's customer service right now. As some of you know, I was given authorization for their Military/Law Enforcement direct factory purchase program. I placed my order for 10 SR25 mags on April 30th and received not one, but two confirmation emails. A couple of days ago, wondering what happened to my order, I went on the site and logged into my account but could find no info on the order. I sent an email to customer service, and was advised by a Lynette Flores that they had no record of my order and that the program had ended. I was referred to one of their distributors, which had NO Magpul mags in stock! The next day, I found the email confirming my order (with the order ID number) and sent it to them and was basically told (again by Lynette Flores) that the program had ended and I was S.O.L.! Magpul has some great products, but so do a lot of other manufacturers and after this fiasco I'm seriously considering not patronizing Magpul anymore. I was never billed for the mags as they don't bill until they are shipped, so I'm not out anything financially but it burns my ass that they accepted the order then just dropped it with out even notifying me and now their attitude is too bad, so sad! >:(

I just got home early Monday morning and haven't had a chance to download anything yet. I got slammed with crap from the upcoming benefit ride we (NM Choir Boys) are putting on in June, and now the little old lady living behind me needs me and Josh to move her today! I promise, as soon as I can get some time I'll get some stuff up. I will see if I can get a video or two from Josh's phone too.

Damn that was fun! Josh told me when we left Twenty nine Palms that one of the things he really missed in the Marines was being able to go to the range and shoot. You guys really made his day! I can't thank you enough for hauling all that hardware to the range and sharing. That was a LOT of guns! When I get home I'll post some pics and maybe a video or two. BTW did I mention, that was a lot of guns?

We are at my daughters house. Just got in from watching the grandson play a little league game. They put it on the other team. See you guys in the morning.

Had my wife text Josh this morning to see if he needed me to bring any of his civvies with me since he will be at his sister's for 5 days before getting home. He texted back "Swimming trunks and my weapons!" <lmao> I'm bringing his Benelli, his AR-15 and his Kimber .45 (that he appropriated from me!) but not his STI. I tore it down and stripped the slide down to get it engraved with his name, Semper Fi, and the Eagle Globe & Anchor, but haven't sent it off to get it done yet. Thinking whether I should bring his Stoeger Coach Gun. That thing kicks like a mule!

Not even going to try! My daughter lives in Casa Grande, the guns will be left there while I'm in Kalifornia!

Tom is correct, Wednesday is the only day we can do it. My friggin internet is down, those douchebags from Century Link decided to rework the main line out in the alley and left me with no service all weekend. I'm operating with my cellphone as a hotspot right now and it's spotty. You guys figure out what time you want to meet at the range Wed. and Josh and I will be there. If I can't get back on here before I leave out Monday morning I'll call Tom for the info. I'm bringing my LR308 and Josh's AR-15 and maybe his Benelli M-4 (I have LOTS of 00 Buck!) and I'll have my little Colt .45 carry gun. I may throw my STI competition gun in too. As I said, I have to leave all this stuff at my daughter's on my way to 29 Palms because I can't go on base with all that stuff! She has two kids and no gun vault to secure the guns in so I can't pack too much.
