  1. I'm right there with you. That's why I pretty much run the same trigger in most of my rifles.
  2. Ya cheap bastard. Always counting pennies.
  3. I'm 50/50 on this. I think it has a place for certain rifles. I've got some "A2 style" rifles, and I like them as much as any other. They're purpose built, no nonsense and no batteries needed kind of rifles. Nothing wrong with that. I've got an AR-10 A2 carbine that I absolutely love. And it's deadly accurate at the "minute of man" level. That being said, we all have other rifles that are built out to different specs and for different applications. As far as back up sights? Everybody has their opinion about them. Some see them as useless, others see them as for what they are.....a back-up. Me? I run them on just about everything I have that's not an A2 style AR. I'm not worried about the couple of ounces that they may add to a particular weapon. But they're all the micro style.
  4. He's saying that because a lot of the manufacture's play around with the gas port/gas tube length measurements. They think that they're smarter than the average bear, and re-inventing the wheel. You'll wanna stick with an Armalite gas tube for that barrel. And I'm not sayin that just because I'm the "Armalite pusher", just because it'll be the correct size (length) for what you need.
  5. I'm liking that Enfield my brother. Looks good. FUK. I gotta make it out to Indiana some time. Oh..........and you SUCK by the way.......you fukin bastard. (just in general to keep your head from being inflated )
  6. Fukers!

    Hello

    Welcome from Maryland.
  8. On another side note. DNP showed up later that evening. AND THEN.....MikeDaddy showed up at, and him and I stayed up all night (drinking of course) until the sun came up. PlanelFlyer showed up, and then we all drove into the desert and proceeded to have a fun time. By the time I crashed that evening, I was working on almost a good 48 hours of being vertical (while drinking of course). And the fall shoot events just keep getting better.
  9. Yeah, maybe. But they ain't like the ol Silverback hugs though. True story. Matt Cross and I drive across country to the fall shoot (me from Maryland, picking up Matt in North Carolina). We call Tom once we're into AZ and meet him at his work around mid-day. First time meeting him face to face. All three of us do a cool meet and greet, followed by Tom throwing his house keys at us and saying that he'll meet us there later. FIRST time meeting face to face mind you. Matt and I say "Cool", and roll out to Tom's place. We proceed to spend the afternoon, in Tom's front yard mind you, with Matt drinking cokes and me drinking beer (normal pace.....what some might call heavy ) waiting for Tom to show up. He shows up a couple hours later, and proceeds to do a flying tackle/bearhug combination on both me and Matt....................................and it's never been the same ever since. And I wouldn't have it any other way. With him, or any other of the regulars. If you don't know...............................you'll find out eventually. As a side note. Now, ever since, the fall shoots ARE my vacation time that I plan around for the year.
  10. I hate those little bastards. Mist those fukers.
  11. Nah. She probably enjoys them.......as she's riding her new 4 wheeler, like the one she test drove at the fall shoot last year.
  12. Welcome from Maryland.
  13. Welcome aboard from Maryland.

    Hello!

    Welcome from Maryland.
  16. You obviously haven't been on the receiving end of a pants-down hug yet. And don't get me wrong................it's GREAT!
  17. Welcome aboard from Maryland.
  18. Hey, hey, hey.........take it easy with that cleaning stuff buster. I plan to get around to cleaning mine someday.
  19. Dragged out into the light. Welcome to the shenanigans of the outed.
  20. I hate to say it, but you're a good guy Rob. Just holler if you need anything from me brother.
  21. Welcome aboard from Maryland, Dutch.
  22. Timing is everything my brother. As it so happens, I'm tied up (as we speak) taking my 80 year old parents up to Hopkins, since that's obviously the only place that you can go (said sarcastically). That being said, that ties me up all evening too since they stay at my place while they're in the area.
  23. Yeah, I didn't think about it until after I had already posted, that he was referring to a low voltage system. Yeah, you can smoke ground wires on low voltage stuff like that.
  24. The only way I'd take it. Ya bastard.
  25. In my book, having ammo never hurts no matter what caliber it is. Now that being said, I've probably had the same 100(or so) of 00 buck for years, since I rarely play with my shotguns. I'm just not much of shotgun guy. Now 7.62 or 5.56...…….you can never have too much of those.
