  1. freakin mags for that damn thing above are at least $70. ludicrous. but I need some more :D
  2. this here bad boy will be on its way to my fll soon
  3. one less is now in stock :D now I guess I need to decide on trigger, and I guess I need the upper completion kit too. Then all that is left is buffer + spring, have a tube + stock and all the rest
  4. of course, I also just bought a tommy gun, so the money isn't quite here yet to pay for that (should be soon though, probably by Monday)
  5. No seller ratings on armslist, it's more like craigslist in that way. I guess i'll get him to send me a clear photo of the serial, plus his drivers license and go from there. an HK MK23 for $1250 is a steal :)
  6. yeah, i'm sure he'll send a serial, so I can check to make sure it isn't stolen. Just it's a little scary to send $1300 to someone you don't know that you found on armslist for a pistol. I wish there was a good escrow service. Like $400 I can feel ok about the risk, but that's a bit more :)
  7. a Thompson 1927 A1 T150D :D http://www.gunbroker.com/item/574773125
  8. I'm looking at doing a private party transaction to buy a relatively rare pistol for $1250, but i'm really iffy about sending someone that much in a money order without being able to be sure the gun is real, not stolen, etc. It would be great to have a brother go check it out for me.
  9. nah, not a hater, just have one of the upper/lower combos from Reidman that i'd like to put together. the top end is all dpms, but from what I understood I need the AR10 lpk
  10. thanks, but that's dpms not armalite. lots of places have DPMS in stock. what a pain.
  11. Those are both Bs so far as I can tell, and in the couple of places I can find something in stock (not many) they are all Bs too
  12. I've been looking, can't find anyplace that has one in stock. Don't care if it has a trigger or not, don't really mind paying the higher price for one with the 2 stage trigger either, but I don't really want to go with a DPMS or CMMG lpk

    Grilling

I had a funny grilling experience. I was doing some rubbed chicken quarters on the grill and it kept flaming up bad. so I hit it with a spritz from the hose, which I didn't realize killed all the burners (gas). 15 minutes later i'm wondering whats going on, relight it. a few minutes later, the same thing, but I realize the burners aren't on much sooner. Repeat this over and over, with it ending up taking over an hour and a half for the damned quarters to cook through. But... they were absolutely fantastic :D so then I more or less purposefully did the same thing with drumsticks, cooking them really high to get a light char and crisp skin, then turning off one burner and putting them all on top of that, effectively baking them slowly. worked out great
  14. they got approval. it takes manual intervention to fire each bullet. pulling back the trigger and holding it back - 1 bullet goes out. Releasing the trigger? 1 bullet goes out. Problem is, if you try to fire them too fast, they screw up as the hammer is trying to fire again while the bolt is in the wrong place
  15. I have just a 29 gal tall now, with just goldfish in it, most of who came from state fair or carnivals :) . Have had tanks as big as 80 gal and bigger, used to have a good bit of saltwater fish too. A huge lionfish (over a foot long), dwarf seahorses (maybe the size of a dime) all kinds of stuff. It was way too much effort to maintain :D I had a 20 gal freshwater tank with natural light bulbs on a timer that I got to be self sustaining for at least 3 months before I ended up moving and having to dismantle it. Live plants, mollys and swordtails. The mollys even bred and had babies in the tank during that time.

    Grilling

not sure if this is reachable but interesting
  17. got some spare $ coming in, if the pawnshop in the ghetto still has it, it's going to buying a tommy gun, one of the black furniture commando models with a drum
  18. a ruger 10/22 takedown with a bersa sweet 22 scope
  19. I wonder how much he was selling them for :)
  20. What they should have done is worked out a way to get his name, so they had it for the FBI
  21. I don't like that charging handle idea. seems to go a bit far forward in the upper, and i'm not at all a fan of reciprocating ones either in an ARish rifle :)
  22. I'm not really sure, but i'd think so. I bet the reason them mention the delta ring is because their wrench doesn't work with the offset depth the delta ring adds. Maybe someone else will have a better answer
  23. you tried both sides of it? Oh removing the delta ring. you aren't planning on reusing the delta ring are you?
