  1. Just because it was mentioned here, i'll threadjack for a sec. How do you put one of those FSBs back onto another barrel? I got a 308 carbine barrel i'll be taking one off of, and sometime later buying a 5.56 20" barrel and need to put the FSB on to save the money of buying one already set up if possible
  2. overall you maintain more in the way of choices and also lower prices by sticking to DPMS pattern
  3. nice!
  4. but with the barrel drilled for those, its not like they'll interfere with a replacement block's set screws or anything right?
  5. hmm dangit, I didn't want to wait, but that would probably be nicer. On amazon, they have the luth MBA-1 with the LR308 buffer/tube/spring for $160 and I have some amazon gift card funds too. But it would be nice to have collapsible
  6. It is a carbine. So you don't think an LR308 receiver extension/buffer/spring is a good idea then? since I was looking at that Luth stock, they have a package that comes with one, which was why I was thinking that
  7. I bought the upper/lower combo, the 15" rail, and the 16" AP4 barrel from Reidman. I've saved up a little bit o money, so I'm trying to figure out the rest of what I want to buy. Pretty settled on the Luth MBA1 stock http://www.luth-ar.com/product/the-mba-modular-buttstock-assembly/ the triggerless LPK + upper PK from armalite, have a nice trigger here waiting (can't recall the brand, bought it from another member here) So i'm more or less down to buffer tube/spring/buffer, BCG (LR308 pattern), gas block + tube, and muzzle device after that. Trying to keep it budget friendly, what suggestions do you all have? Not sure if I really need adjustable gas block on this one as i'm unlikely to suppress it
  8. I found some vague mentions of it in threads, but wanted to hear more details. Thinking about it for the Reidman AR10 parts I have here http://www.luth-ar.com/product/the-mba-modular-buttstock-assembly/
  9. I would think its tolerance stacking, that isn't a ridiculous possibility
  10. I'm jealous too!
  11. I'm surprised there wasn't more of a fireball

I've got an 18 cu ft freezer, I could probably fit a whole cow butchered pretty easily
  13. Hmm yeah I looked mine is a 2 sided DPMS / KAC

ok, I have the outer shell now, 4x4x12 aluminum , just need to accumulate the other pieces and finalize design elements
  15. I thought PRI used to make a 2 in one. I might have one in my toolbox still unused if I recall
  16. I'm hoping there's more info on the Atlanta one, where the officers went into the wrong home on a burglary call and apparently managed to shoot each other plus the homeowner with the homeowner being unarmed
  17. maybe wasabi then or ginger?
  18. Hmm that would never have crossed my mind. Some horseradish, some dill and bam that would be perfect
  19. I've done some with jellies/jams. On and off in the spring we go to the different "you pick em" berry places and somehow the kids always feel the need to get like 5lbs of everything
  20. Yeah, I could use a set of those, not for this build but for an AR 15. send me a pm with what you want for them plus 1 charging handle, and what email address to send it to

I've actually got from aquariums a few multi gang valves that actually allow adjustability too. I was thinking of getting maybe a 1 foot piece of this http://www.onlinemetals.com/merchant.cfm?pid=18021&step=4&showunits=inches&id=1270&top_cat=60 4" square aluminum tube. How tall is the kahanu sized? Not sure If I need to go longer than 1 ft so there's an air pump inlet at the bottom too. that makes sense. to really blow it around. Hmm maybe I should get steel, at least I can weld the bottom on then, can't really with aluminum.
  22. I'll take one. you happen to have any other "small parts" as extras lying around? I still need a gas block, carbine gas tube, other bits + pieces :D
  23. looks like new you can get them for around $39 you take paypal?
  24. if I say I like this color pattern, am I gonna get kicked off the island? :D I don't like the quick read being missing from the new items page tho
