MHO ... I think the whole "Open Carry" applies to hand guns ! Yeah it Alarms Moms driving in their mini-van when they see a guy walking into a restuarant carrying an AR. Walkinlg down the street with an AK on an AR is not normal behavior. If you have a hand gun in a holster on your waist , no one gives you more than a second look !

I had no real need to shoot that gun ! I had experienced firing 1 round in a sililar gun before. Nobody said anything about a Python in 45LC or a Glock21 in .460Rowland.

The whole purpose of upgrading a recoil spring kit is to make the gun run smoother. Not just so you can shoot hotter loads. A normal semi auto hand gun, may function beter wwith a increase of 1 or 2 pounds more spring pressure. Wolf springs ,Glock Perfection , or custom shops of manufactures have parts for your gun . Brownells and Midway USA have all the part listed for upgraded springs. And example let's say you have a 40S&W XDM and the factory spring is 16 Lbs, you upgrade to a 18 lb spring now you gun cycles smoother and you "feel" less sting in your hand while shooting. Now. You just improved your gun and will be thinking about a trigger kit !

WOW ... Really. Well IMR 800X is the powder of choice. MUST hand weigh each load ! Look up the 10mm reloading thread on AR15.com . Mike McNutt of DoubleTap Ammo had a lot of input. You will have to taylor the load to your gun. I have summer and winter loads. The winter loads will jam in the summer and could over power the gun. 180gr projectile going 1250fps are about the safe upper limit on the 10mm rounds ! Read a lot before you try this at home.

Can you still get splitter/shredder 12ga rounds. Had a couple boxes in the 1980's , that was a modified slug that split into four pieces. It torn up fridges and trees.
