Shibi .. you can make any auto, semi that you want to BUT it has to be labeled to you or your company and registered with the BATFE. And you cannot sell it !
On pre 86 you can only sell it to a Class 3 dealer with a transfer to said dealer. You cannot sell that gun to an individual , NO exceptions !
Do you have any extra selector springs ? Get a couple and take one coil of one and two coils off the second try each before you start grinding with a stone on your trigger pack.
Is there an adjustment screw in the bottom of the pocket ?
I have had to cut the spring going to the selector to make some trigger pack to function properly.
My RRA NM 2 stage works great in my 308, hope you get yours fixed soon.
Got some Dura coat , Ergo Pink and Tactical Black. Now I need to pick up some Ceracoat colors from the paint store in Mesa. The pink is a little to pale for my liking, I want a flashy or neon Pink for my daughter's gun.
I sandblasted a Midwest Industries Quad rail and an Aero upper receiver. It turned out pretty good except for the charging handle, the stem area was extra hard. The rail area was a real PITAto get down to the metal.
Go for it ! You will love that rifle.
I have a 300 WSM rifle a Win 70 and it is the $h!T.
Rob has shot it , he can tell you the power of that cartridge.
Then get another 1911 at a later date. Like a Caspian frame custom model that is a perfect for you !
Cleaned ,sized, trimmed and primed all the brass I picked up last Sunday after shooting with Tom.
93 308 , 74 223 , 139 40s&w , 38 10mm , 9 6.8spc.
Took my time doing these this week, relaxing therapy !
I'm not sure if that Midwest handguard is for a LR308 ? Make sure its not the AR15 version which I have three of. Young Mfg makes a nice handguard for the LR308 pattern.
Also the Magpul buttstocks weigh less than what you picked out.
Another example 10.5" and no problems !
If you go shorter the gas port size has to be experimented with , also buffer weights must be dailed in.
