I love em too for what they are and thats a long range battle optic. Made tough enough to take to war. But the glass quality just isn't there for me after using steiner, s&b, and Zeiss. They offered me a 30-40 percent discount but its off their manufacturer price. Basically the prices they offered were 10-20 bucks cheaper than buying from optics planet or midway. Not enough for me to put money into an optic I worry ide hafta pussyfoot around with. Ill just stick to my go to brands.

For those that dont believe me heres the flexing on a soft shooting semi auto. Now imagine what it can do to a 1" tube bushnell "elite".

Thing has gone from safe to case. Never dropped or banged. 50s are known for this but he explained that is impossible. Reminds me why I never bought a Bushnell product before owning this and why ill never own another one. Stay tuned. It will be strapped to at least 10lbs of the fun stuff and sent to heaven.

Well... finally heard back from bushnell on the elite 3200 off the 50. Damaged beyond repair. Impact damage and bent tube. They wont replace bc im sure they'll say the bent tube is from improper mounting. But gonna call an explain that it was on a 50 with honed rings. Only guess I have is that after watching slomo videos of 50s and watching the scopes flex like waves on a beach thats what caused it. Maybe theyll accept it but doubtful. Offered a discount on new scope but I dont plan on owning another bushnell. Ill give an update tomorrow. Lesson learned.

The old man that I usta store my race trailer with had one just like ur new one. It sure aint a fun one to shoot but a great carry gun.

Well finally after 2 scopes I was feelin like the rifle would need to be sent back. Said fk it and put the steiner from the lr on it for last try. Started out as bad as ever. This is ppu 145 that shoots moa ish in my lr. Almost packed up and went home but figured ide try some of the different ammo I had brought. Hated my primary hunting reloads with 150gr hornady interlock. Then my 165 game king load. Hey thats not too shabby. Then on to the 168 fgmm. Awesome thats do able. Lower left is FGMM and circled is SGK. Seems this 1/10 twist hates all the small stuff my 1/12 loves. Need to load up som 175 smk next then work on a 165 hunting load for this specific rifle. Looks like ill be keepin the rifle. Oh and heres a pic I took bc I was bored waiting for people to clear the range.

3200 but the 50cal killed it. Its a decent scope but I love my m series nikons. Was hoping to use it till I had money. Guess not

Looked all over and saw most have it listed as discontinued. Anyone know the reason y? I can still get it but im guessin it didnt sell well?

Well today went decent enough. As much as I hoped I was wrong the scope is done. It came off the 50 and I suspected it was skipping zero but thought it might just only be on the biggun. My bore sight was close and I was on target second shot. Ammo is PPU 145gr BT. Moved to this target and first three shots in the bull. Fourth shoots way low. Figured I didnt put the same weight into the rifle. Fifth goes left....ok wtf. Maybe I jerked but not THAT much. 6th goes down and right. Ok new target. Im all over the place. 4 inch spreads. Next target I shoot fgmm 168. Not even on paper. Adjust zero on paper just to group. 4 out of 6 are off paper and the 2 that land are inches apart. pack up and call it quits. Scope is going to Bushnell, old trusty BSA is on for tomorrow. And Nikon M308 is ordered. But them first 3 shots of PPU look promising.

Same I got without optic. I put the p223 on mine and its dead on with the reticle. Put a Bushnell elite on the 308 till I have the cash for the m308
