  1. Poop, I really got to move out of this state. Do you have to go through all the paper work? or is it off the radar?
  2. I would also be interested in the opinions of others as I also carry Condition 1. The way I look at it you carry to be prepared, If there is no round in the chamber you are not prepared.
  3. Can you "legally" make you own suppressor? I never read into that
  4. That's not your ass, its hers
  5. I got a can......But its not very silent in there ::)
  6. Sounds like youve got a fun little toy there, congratulations. That sucks with the otis eyelet! Ive never really liked the idea of a cable or boresnake setup and now I really wont try them after hearing that. Are you running an adj gas block?
  7. What no chips and dip?
  8. If I ever get it finished I'll try to remember to do a test both ways. The way I look at it any movement is not going to contribute to accuracy, so if anything its going to help. Also any movement on an assembly is only going to get worse over time. And I just like being different
  9. Welcome Novamark! You've found the right place to make your money disappear.
  10. Yeah should have seen that referance coming my self. The words tension and rear in the same sentence just flip some peoples switch <laughs>
  11. THIS is the equivelant of black talon. They dont make it anymore
  12. Havent taken any pics yet. Is there anything you would like to see in particular?
  13. Welcom from Rhode Island Bearcub. Youve come to the right place, lots of very informative yet ball busting guys around here.
  14. I just finished a rear tension pin, basically copied JP's style. I didnt have much play but I wanted a snug fit. So...... having the ability to make one and being broke I couldnt justify paying $45 for one. I made it out of a 10-32 cap screw and two pieces of A2 tool steel that I hardened. I made it specific to my rifle so the diameters are very close. All I can say is holy Sh**! I cant belive how well that works. Ive read that a lil loc-tite will be required to keep it snug and in place so someday when I finish this project and shoot it we will see how it holds up. I'll post a picture after work cause god knows everyone like pictures. Has anyone here had any experiences or opinions with a JP tension pin?

    Coming Soon!

This thread has me thinking of this song
  16. Ok ok I think we need to start an official work place prank and make it a sticky ::)
  17. We used to take the silver anti-seize and gently brush it on a co workers keys that were silver. <lmao> Holy Sh** by the time they noticed it was all over the freakin place. But you didnt hear that from me.
  18. I wish I had those tough decisions to make.
  19. I wish I could do that, my cholesterol would be so high my veins would look like a rubber hose stuffed with manicotti
  20. I still don't see the use in these, other than maybe putting on or taking off a muzzle device. And even then there is no need to be that tight. If used on a barrel nut you are putting all that torque on the pin and slot in the receiver.
  21. Let us know how that works out for ya
