Were they filed electronically or on paper? That's going to be real depressing if you did it electronically. I figured that one would come in quicker and building the SBR would take my mind off of the suppressor:(
The Form 4 for my suppressor was filed on paper about a month ago. I just filed the Form1 for my SBR electronically. Now it's a race to see which is approved first.
If I want to register an SBR that I am going to build with a purchased lower receiver, do I have to add any engraving for additional identification for the Form 1? Or is the serial number on the lower enough?
We'll, I got the trust done and I pulled the trigger on a suppressor. Bought a YHM Phantom Titanium QD. Now I just have to wait for the ATF. It sucks that they took down the online applications.
Copper would be too soft.
Anyone familiar with Dan Wesson pistols? They were unique in that they were threaded on the end. The barrel shroud slipped over the barrel. And then a barrel nut was torqued against the shroud putting the barrel in tension. I had one and it was very accurate. I wonder how that concept would work on an AR with a free float tube?
Hey, I've got room in my safe for anyone who wants to store something. Of course, I get to shoot anything in my safe.
Just got information yesterday, the date for BATFE to make a decision on trusts is now January 2015.
The SDN-6 is has a great reputation. I was also looking at the Thunder Beast 30BAS and YHM titanium Phantom QD. The 30 BAS and Phantom are about 4 oz. lighter.
I went crazy this weekend:
