I feel the same way pretty frequently. I've never really lived anywhere outside of Colorado for more than a month or two, so it's pretty weird still. Would rather have gotten to move to Washington, TBH, but that will happen later. In the meantime, Texas is a pretty cool state, with a lot of unique opportunities. Had to retake the CHL class due to Texas law, even despite the open carry stuff. Fubbed a shot, and missed making perfect though. Can't wait to try out the 308 here.

I'm now officially in San Antonio. Will have to hit some of y'all up when I get a chance.

That Memorial Day sale was something else. If I'd had some expendable income, rather than having it all sucked dry by my move, I'd have jumped on board that one. I think it would have panned out to around 30% off. I expect we'll see another great sale from them for the 4th of July, and I hope to have enough cash for another lower. I have that upper sitting around, and it needs to be a full rifle. I blame you all for that mentality. Aero sells their own BCG, which I am quite pleased with, FYI.

What do you mean by width? It was 1/4" thick, IIRC, and around 2.25" at the widest point, I believe. Something like that, anyways. Fairly similar measurements to a 16" Ang Khola.

I've shot a fair amount of the 9mm and .40 stuff. Seems to fire just fine.

Nice tip. Also, hooray for someone who knows how to spell "voila." I read an article in Guns America or something similar today in which the author spelled it "whalla." I'm sure the guy knows his guns, but it's still nice to see someone who doesn't spell phonetically.
