  1. I've also noticed that staring at red light for extended periods tends to make it hard for your eyes to focus and can lead to headaches and such. Speaking of, didn't 1st gen thermal imaging tech use a red filter or something?
  2. Oh man, just one or two more paychecks and I'm down!
  3. On its way! Damn you, Tom :D
  4. Nice find, how long have those been out? Also, post up a link so I can cuss you out for making me spend more money <lmao>
  5. The human eye can naturally distinguish more shades of green quicker than any color in the visible spectrum. I think it has something to do with us being hunters or something.
  6. All my mail carriers are used to it now <lmao>
  7. Have you left the PMags loaded for long periods of time? Maybe the spring tension opened up the top of the mag a little bit. That's what those little "dust cover" thing is really for, right?
  8. Oak? I figured you'd have a steel ball in the end....
  9. Thanks for the walkthrough, Unforgiven. I've got one thing to add, though; once you know how deep you have to drill, wrap a little Teflon tape around the bit as a halfassed depth gauge. Now where's my thumbs up smiley....
  10. http://www.americanspecialtyammo.com/37mm-launchers.html 'Nuff said
  11. Yup, makes him sound more mysterious, instead of a redneck with a snorkel on his 4x4
  12. I think Tom could manage, we already know she's into "secret agents", so it shouldn't be TOO hard.
  13. I wanna say it was '63 to '64, but I'm not positive. I'd love to try out a 5.56 with a twist that slow, it could be part of a badass home defense rifle.
  14. NP, brother, but I was thinking something like this: https://youtu.be/1ytCEuuW2_A
  15. I took a couple pictures, but they're still a little fuzzy. You can see on the top locking lug in the pic where the bare steel is starting to show. I also noticed the NiB on the can pin is starting to wear off, too. That one was tough to get to show up on camera.
  16. I second the nomination, I wanna see AR Armorer's courses in every Middle/High School, nationwide by 2018, I know you can do it, brother!
  17. For real, check here first, you'll be glad you did.
  18. Old habits die hard, especially when they beat it into you
  19. I don't know, kinda looks like the preview to a group buy, maybe? :D
  20. I gotta go to work, I'll try to get pics tonight.
  21. Ares talks all big about their NiB coating process, but the coating started to fold slightly after the first round and has started to chip off of the face of one of the locking lugs, and I just hit the 25 round mark on the entire setup.
  22. And we started out so serious this time, too. Sorry, Robo
  23. I hooked up a setup like that to a dirt car back in high school, that schit was scarier than hell. The only bad part was you had to be in the running car for it to work
  24. We should see if Robo can make some phone calls and set us up another group buy....
  25. That sucks, man. Sadly, unless you sit in your window and watch your truck all night, there's not a lot you could do to stop them until they get locked up. I remember whenever the carnival would come to town, there was a rich neighborhood 1/4 mile from the fair. Every time, after the Carneys broke everything down on the last day, they would sneak into the neighborhood of roughly 100 houses. By sunrise, every catalytic converter, along with any trace of carnival, was gone. It finally stopped a few years back when a Carney 'bout fried his brain on MDMA, passed out in a closet, then was awakened the next morning with the barrels of a 12 gauge pointing at his head. Somehow the homeowners wives screams when she opened the closet door didn't wake the guy up, so he ended up arrested instead of dead.
