  1. I just noticed, and correct me if I'm mistaken, but it looks like the only place that you can get the Seekins adjustable gas block with the set screw in the front is from Seekins Precision. Looking at, well, everywhere else, the pictures show the set screw in the back face of the block. If I'm right, looks like it'd be worth the extra $4 to get it from them.
  2. It's funny you mention that, as the whole point of this upper is so I don't have to carry a 12 lb rifle through the woods this season. Granted, I am a little late starting, but there's still time. Which Loctite did you use? I was thinking that purple stuff will work, right? That Seekins block is going on Criterion's rifle length 16" (gotta remeasure the gas port), so I might have to play with it to reliably function, but that's half the fun, right? Btw, I forgot to ask, Wash, is that weight with or without optics? XD
  3. That was actually what I was trying to figure out. The Matrix keymod handguard is slightly bigger internally, so that Seekins agb should work. Thanks again, Wash <thumbsup> Edit: I miss emoticons
  4. What's the I.D. of that BCM KMR? I can't find specs anywhere on their site, but I'm mainly worried about the height and the gas tube channels width.
  5. You don't happen to remember the width of the top, do you Wash? That's about the only relevant measurement Seekins omitted from the site. I think that'll work, though.
  6. What are the outer dimensions on these blocks? I'm looking for the same thing, Mag, but it needs to fit under a FF handguard....
  7. Didn't 98 have the same problem w/his AP set's bolt catch as we all had with the Matrix sets?
  8. Where's edit? I forgot to ask, how wide is the gas tube pocket? Looks like, as long as it's wide enough, there are several adjustable gas blocks that'll fit under that handguard.
  9. Thanks, guru, that'll work :) Nice build, BTW, I'm working on the same thing but with one of Criterion's rifle length 16" barrels. Anyone know of an adjustable gas block (.750) that'll fit under that?
  10. I've got a couple, and they've never let me down. The only thing that aggravates me is how you can't insert a full 75 rds on a closed bolt, and they take FOREVER to load. But like Hemi said, load 'er up, close that cover, and turn the key 3/4 turn, and she's g2g indefinitely, just turn it the other 9 clicks when you need to use it.
  11. Is anyone running one of these? What's the inside diameter of the tube? I'm going to e-mail Chris and ask, but I figured it might be quicker to ask y'all, seeing how it's the weekend and all... Here's the link, BTW: http://www.centralfloridafirearms.com/product/matrix-aerospace-15-key-mod-hand-guard/
  12. I believe it was Tom who said, "Don't complicate schit with complicated schit"
  13. Lucky, I've wanted one of those ever since Kel-Tec announced it. I thought about getting a Five-seveN until I found out about the PMR-30. Where'd you find one for $350?
  14. I'm still waiting for the day they start handing out FIM-92F's. If price follows the SR-25, that'd be like $40,000, right? <lmao>
  15. Schit, the Wildcats just played a HS FB game against Valdosta last week, I'm like 2 he's away, too! Welcome to the forums, brother, always good to have another GB around. These guys might be a little intimidating at first, but there's no better place to go for this stuff, and I think you'll like it here :)
  16. They ARE ready, Blue, you just gotta call Criterion. I got mine last week, just haven't had the time for pictures & such....
  17. I forgot about that thread, thanks, Mike! I went with the MBA2 over the PRS, mainly due to the almost $200 price difference, but it hasn't disappointed me yet. One thing I did notice, though, was if you get the rail section for this stock, it'll mount right up to the MBA1, but the buttplate on the MBA2 either has to be modified or replaced to mount the rail. Once I figured that out, I went ahead and ordered the LOP adjustable buttplate assembly, but they forgot to send the extension tube spacer necessary to change the butt. I shot them an e-mail, but I received the assembly on a Friday, so I didn't expect to hear back for a few days, but before Monday Randy himself emailed me to make sure the parts I needed made it to me. And they did, within a couple days. I like what Magpul's putting out, but I've got a feeling I'll be going with a Luth AR stock for my future builds.
  18. Thanks, Dave, I'm on my way over to your site now! <thumbsup>
  19. Ask pappy, he's got a couple;
  20. Sound like a Madden sales pitch XD https://youtu.be/TR-LzpXBH5g
  21. Gauge and barrel length?
  22. Gem State Armory made a nice one, but they've been out of stock for what seems like two years.... http://www.gem-state-armory.com/ar-armorers-wrench/
  23. That would be correct! Not bad, Mike
  24. Thanks , I do what I can lol How about this?
