This man has issues. LOL -
That's a nice target and grouping for sure. I'd damn sure be proud of it.

I'd buy that POF piston gun in a heartbeat if I hadn't already built the one I have. I bet it runs real good too.

I don't know if I posted the previously on here (I know I did somewhere) but my 7.62x39 weapon is built from the following: YMH fluted 16" barrel and flash suppressor with an "F"-marked A2 front sight/gas block, standard round A2 black carbine hand guards. RGuns upper and lower receivers. Standard charging handle. NiB BCG from JSE Surplus Standard AR15 fire control group, multi-position standard mil-spec carbine stock, spring, buffer, etc. Very well-balanced and shoots real smooth. Only a slight bit more recall that a 5.56 YHM produces some excellent gun parts.

Try to make this short and to the point ... Surprisingly got in a little range time so I picked up where I last left off with the 7.62x39 mag issues. Happy to report the C-Products Defense 28 ad 30 round mags all worked flawlessly. Additionally the 30 round mag I assembled with the spring and follower from the 28 round mag (allowing 32 total rounds) worked flawlessly also. I tired every mag I bought from these people and suffered not one single problem/hiccup whatsoever. The chevron-sided 30 round mag I bought from Bownells worked flawlessly also. I fired both steel and brass cased ammo from a variety on manufacturers. No differences noted. The ASC mags I have are going to be donated as training mags to one or more LEO agency around here. I don't want somebody trusting their life to any of the ASC mags I have. Thanks to all for the patience with me getting this information updated.

It seems if it's not the Black Panthers it's the illegals. Some would argue the shape of things to come is starting to take shape.

Meanwhile ... back to the original topic. Anyone hear about the police officer in Abilene, Texas yet? I understand it's been kept quiet for a day or two but now they've done a press release. Obviously this young cop was kidnapped and possible tortured. They found him bound, gagged, and dead. Allegedly the suspects or one or more hispanic males and possibly one white male. I hope there exists a legitimate reason for keeping the lid on this for a few days and NOT because they wanted to withhold as long as possible the racial identities of the suspects. This practice has become the norm almost in Houston and obviously it's catching on in the smaller places like Abilene.

From what I have seen (and watched in interviews) Carson is on the lame side compared to Trump when it comes to deporting all the parasites. Carson has a lot going for him when it comes to revamping our tax laws and dealing with clowns like Iran. Both of them are fairly equal in this area. Carson is on record, as is Trump in the past, as being pretty much for Aussie style gun control. With me this is out of the question. Both of them seem to have it in for China and Mexico which is absolutely positive. I refuse to believe that deporting 11 million is unrealistic. It CAN be done. If you take away all their incentives (magnet) for coming here illegally a lot of them will self-deport, but not all of them. Those that remain will be high in number but this will be easier to deal with. Dealing with some of them will require some old-fashioned HARD USE OF FORCE. This is also possible in practice but it is unknown how may in DC will support it, or even activate This leaves Cruz as the sole consistent pro-gun and anti-illegal candidate. The 2016 primaries are still a little ways off. We've got time.

Nice gun -
I think this mass LEO data compilation has been going on since the Rodney King fiasco. I think it was easier for the guvmint to do than a lot of folks expected. It probably wasn't even viewed as an issue when it started. If the King fiasco had happened somewhere other than a major city it may never have come to this, or maybe as fast. Back then California still had a significant influence as a trend setter and somewhat still does, just not as a conservative state. A major riot like that happening in CA just could not be tolerated anywhere else. Herein lies the roots of the Patriot Act. They've been tracking bank transactions since Nixon resigned. Reason; can you imagine what it was like in the early 70(s) to collect taxes after Watergate and before Saigon fell, let alone Tricky Dick being pardoned? IMHO, contrary to popular opinion, tracking large sums of money did NOT start with the drug wars, but initially with Prohibition, and again later in the 70(s) due to a sudden increase in mass tax evasion due to corrupt politics and politicians. After all, and as usual, WE THE PEOPLE had to pay for a very costly war. After Reagan, we had our first chance with Perot but that didn't work out. Great ideas and philosophy here but he came across as too much of a hot-head and too high-strung. Later, we get Ron Paul. Paul's ideas, philosophy, and agenda alone should've won over most concerned and conservative voters, and it did for a lot of people. The problem was that Paul is not that great of an orator, he doesn't have the political "sales" finesse that some of his opponents did. Additionally, Paul had the same problem Perot had; he had a streak of being too high-strung. Both of them would've succeeded had they been better, smoother political salesmen. Similarly you have Barbara Bachman. She's got great ideas but every time she speaks she sounds like a RA-RA-RA cheerleader and the message just doesn't catch. Too bad. I'd sure as hell vote for her if she was the only choice. Our Constitution is far from dead but it's steadily fading in a slow downward spiral. Adding to the erosion is the current anarchy situation that we are now seeing coming out of it's infancy. It's complicated; racial, political, cultural, and again, deep-rooted in corruption. We have a slight chance to get the right person in office but this will for the longest time be an extreme uphill climb. We have what Trump is currently offering and if he would tap Sarah Palin for his running mate this would be ideal but I don't know if both of them together would stand a chance of winning. Judge Jeanine would also be great, as would Judge Napolitano. Nobody is going to be perfect. Just today, Cruz, Jindal, and Rubio came under very intense fire for birth location qualifications. If Trump taps one of them this will surely never go away. How much difference it will make is hard to tell because after the Anointed One folks may not be phased by the law requiring a natural-born citizen to be a minimum qualifier for office. Dr. Ben Carson was quoted today as supporting amnesty. This scratches him off my list for sure, especially when that appeals court in IL just rendered a decision stating illegals have the right to own firearms. Who does this leave that is a serious Constitutionalist and/or 2nd. Amendment supporter? Not many I feel that are always sincere. The political situation doesn't look too good with regards to getting someone in office that will uphold the rule of law thus offsetting potential anarchy. We are indeed moving towards that. As for the execution of cops continuing, it will most likely turn out like this; it will happen a bit more then the cops will get tired of it and say screw it, and start getting a little tougher (and I sure as hell don't blame them, if anything they may wait too long). Unfortunately this will lead to more killings, racial riots, madness, and mayhem. The Anointed One is just chomping at the but to declare martial law due to civil unrest. He's admitted this in public in almost as many words. It's all a catastrophic circle, with the Weather Underground Poster Child / Anointed One and the socialist/communist media waiting in the receiving line getting ready to grin all the way to the bank.
-
It IS anarchic in nature and it needs to be stopped as soon as possible.Hard to call it anything BUT social engineering; they are trying to bend societal minds to refuse to acknowledge both the deliberate and implied authority of the former majority. I firmly agree that our socialist media is aware of the possibilities of all the above and they are trying to facilitate the movement (for lack of a better term) while boosting their own ratings and/or maintaining what attention they presently have. Ferguson and Baltimore (reminds us of the LA riot era .... ???) was spectacular news and the media will ride that high was long as possible. I also think all this drama provides the Anointed One the opportunities he's always tried to "time" for; he seems to wait until something like this happens to slip something under the table to later bring out and stab us all in the back with.
-
Great idea but most likely won't happen. In Texas he'll have too much company of his own demonic type. Probably regarded as a hero by a lot of the prison population.
-
Sickening and infuriating, but it was expected.
-
Who ... Eric-the-Hater? Most likely still deleting e-mails about Fast & Furious. Just turned up today the weapon used by one of the terrorist shot in Texas recently in Fort Worth was a Fast & Furious piece. Now how did that weapon get smuggled back in to the US from Mexico I wonder ... ??? The present racist communist scramble-head that just replaced is as bad if not worse.
-
Shot him in the back as he was refueling the marked cruiser. The deputy dropped and the turd kept shooting him as he lay on the ground. If this is not a hate crime I don't know what is.
-
I hope he gets the death penalty and we don't have to spend too much money or time waiting for the final act of justice. As for BLM ... I get the impression they don't realize just exactly how expendable they all are. As for the death penalty I do agree that public executions should return.

DPMS308 FEEDING PROBLEMS
GRA replied to charlie52usaf's topic in DPMS LR-308 General, Technical Discussion
Right off the top of my head it sounds a lot like part of the problem I was having with my 7.62x39 (I stress "part" of the problem) and it turns out to most likely be the mags. Are you having this problem when using more than one magazine and/or just one or two mags (and possibly of the same manufacture) or does it happen with rounds #6-#8 regardless of the mags you're using ... ??? -
To be honest I think I've only seen a 4.0 or a 4.5 lbs. but I've been told there are more. I'll just have to research and see what all is out there then try to find a sale or two this weekend and get it on order. I need at least 1 or 2 such triggers. When I get it installed and hopefully get to the range I'll do a solid and start a new thread. Might try to get a pull gauge while I'm at it.
-
Very well. If the rule is invoked ... SO BE IT. >:D Give me a couple of days (maybe in to the weekend) to find a good price somewhere and I'll do my part get one on order. Any suggestions on 4.0 - 4.5 lbs?
-
One suggestion ... might want to add POF. I don't know if there are many folks using those in .308(s) but I know several folks that use them in AR15(s). This is of course, if you don't want to start a new poll ... (???)

RIGHT ON !!! <thumbsup>

Ordered a Bushnell TRS-25 HiRise AR Optic (3MOA), AR731306 from Palmetto State Armory. -
I don't think I'm being that far-fetched with all I've been hearing and reading lately. Nothing would surprise me given the current regime.

They are no doubt gearing up tp follow the Anointed One's lead. Sounds like preparation for Aussie-style gun control to me. Just coincidental speculation on my part but I don't like it. I'll make an occasional ammo purchase from them but that's it. Haven't been there in a while. We always stay well-stocked with toilet paper.
