  1. Damn! Y'all have a few more calibers in the AR platform than I do, having AR envy now. Think I got 3. 308, 5.56 & 9mm 😪
  2. Don't be so tough on yurself
  3. I did, I mean you did err..?.we did
  4. Y'all shoulda figured out by now that @Lonewolf McQuade @Belt Fed @JF89 & a few other accounts here are "probably " all the same person..... then again....... nevermind- carry on

  8. Good job @308USK!
  9. Interesting. As much as I love some of my less than common rounds, in hindsight, wish I would have built my arsenal around a very few common & widely available calibers & HEAVILY stockpile them. SHTF, doubtful supplies would continue to be produced so I'll base my choice on scrounging. 223/5.56 for rifle. Not my 1st choice but think it would be the more common round found in any kind of quantity now days. 2nd choice for rifle would be .308. Very popular round for hunting, should be able to find some easily, though in smaller quantities . I have several platforms & ample ammo for both rounds I mentioned but if parameter for this exercise is only choose one, I'd have to stick with 223/5.56. Lighter weapon to carry, lighter ammo to carry allowing more to be carried on person & fair chance of picking up more while pilfering.
  10. New speed string for my Excalibur Equinox crossbow
  11. Pretty damn cool!! 😍
  12. Put that Phelps prick to shame
  13. Hey, at least their not webbed
  14. Bummer! My little bolt action is very accurate out to 400+. Loves the steel Wolf 123gr hp. I've got 500 rounds of PMC Brass fmj rounds to burn through, then I'd like to reload them with a good hunting bullet.
  15. All steel? I saw some polymer 20 & 30 rnd for $11 but thought I'd better stick with the steel
  16. The Ruger ones rust quick if not kept oiled, hopefully the nickel plated ones fend a little better
  17. Lol. I have a couple 20 rounders but they're not the greatest for use with a bolt action. Too much tension fully loaded, causing difficulty clambering a round. 17 or less & it feeds smoothly. The 10 round mags feed very well, so that's why I ordered a handful of them
