Contacted wilson. Ombat and their customer service person is a real smart ass. His first reply was "so the gas tube you bought from us is to short?" I said no and explained. He then sent back that he will let the website people own that AR10 rifles need AR10 gas tube. I said you are either trying to be a smart ass or you dont understand anything. Tempted to call and get someone higher up to complain to.

The supurlative arm block adjusts in clicks so you can write down the adjustment for different ammo if you like and when you change just click and shoot.

I have one on my rifle but I still want the proper parts!

Yep. But it kind of torques me that they do this with the gas tube and dont offer one that is correct. Tempted to call customer service on this one

Ok as a result of reading this I looked at my current build and my gas tube is short! Wilson combat barrel now I need a armalite rifle lenght gas tube. Learning all the time.

The people that make decisions don't k ol anything about ballistic as already said. My department for along time wouldn't let SWAT have the dreaded ar15 for fear of over penetration even though our hand guns would penetrate far more. Like most people they think the ar is akin To thor's hammer. They are coming around slowly. Ha

Can you elaborate on the gas tube? I got a rifle length tube from ballistic advantge

Cheaper than say JP or krieger and some others.

We were using a varmint bullet in which I complained. But it took shooting a bad guy 5 times with no serious injury to convince powers to be we needed a change. The winds are blowing to get rid of the m16 so we can go to a better bullet maybe some of the hornady tap rounds with some weight. Not many departments are forward thinkers it takes a tragedy or near one to get change. Sad. Also people win bids that want to push certain things that make them more money. It took me a good while to change from remington match SMK to Hornady tap. Which has shown to be the right decision on a couple occasions

I actually have a JP silent capture set up. That was one of my upgrades. Also upgraded barrel and trigger.

I have some experience with 556/223 in duty rifles. My department is limited to 62 gr Remington bonded core because the military gave us some m16s with 1/12 twist and that the longest bullet it will stabilize. Even at that it takes a double le tap for a windshield as a singlegle round will be stopped in a heavey coat. The bullet will split on impact into two projactiles each weighting around 12 grains apiece.

I'm building an aero precision with some up grades. As I get older i dont want to shift gears in my car and i dont want to jack rounds in my gun. So trying autoloaders in my .308 now we will see how it goes.

Cmmg flat trigger is also good. I run one on my ar15
