  1. @98Z5V Hey hey hey, that's not asphalt or even a roadway lol.
  2. @WestGaDad Don't you have work to do?!? Lol. I can't believe you had a picture of that LOLOL. FYI for everyone else, that was private property and within the law.... I'm pretty sure anyway....
  3. @98Z5V maybe order yourself one of the ejector springs. You could start a new build off it, and ask em who that guy was...... LOLOL
  4. @98Z5V Aw shucks, this is all I did. I didn't really tell em to find 98, but I should have lolol.
  5. ^^^^Bwahahahaha^^^^
  6. @Lane yeah unfortunately we get a lot of riders around here using their phones nowadays. They just use the magnetic tank bags with a clear face on them to play music, or make calls, or text, or whatever. I see it in traffic all the time. But I also see it going down the highway as well. Makes me cringe every time. Of course these are normally the same guys in shorts and flip-flops riding right in the center of their lanes, if that tells you much about them.....
  7. I told em to ask for 98 when they got here lolol.
  8. I get distracted from time to time I admit, and I've had close calls too. Like they say, there's only two types of riders, those that have been down and those that are gonna go down. I fit into the "been down" category and statistically probably will again sometime. But there's basic stuff at work here. He obviously didn't hit it super fast, so I don't think speed is to blame. If not speed then it has to be attention. I didn't notice a tank bag, but I wouldn't be surprised if they discovered a cellphone was involved somehow. Still just glad he's alive. Bike wrecks scare me bad. I won't tell his whole story for him, but westgadad is a super lucky guy too. 110ish mph lay down with nothing but a burn on his left butt cheek lolol.
  9. Oh ok, I gotcha now lol. Sorry for the confusion.
  10. @Cunuckgaucho I was just curious if Marshall was someone you knew or not. I didn't want to offend and rewrote my initial comment before posting lol. But since Marshall is a stranger, WTF!!!! As a rider myself, how do you get that kind of distracted to miss a dump truck coming to a stop?!? Don't get me wrong, glad he's ok, but geez.... And yeah, westgadad is my Husband lol. Not only do we move in the same circles, we go round in circles too! Lolol. The guy he referenced was a local guy to us in Atlanta. We helped at his charity benefit to pay some bills down. Westgadad played music and I was the 50/50 ticket girl. That guys permanently wheelchair bound and still super lucky at that.
  11. Wow!! That's incredible..... He needs a whole roll of lotto tickets right now! Do we know this Marshall guy?
  12. Woohoo!! Sprinco Orange spring, and for a couple dollars more a Sprinco extractor spring set too. I added in my comments that I found them through y'all, maybe they'll start a presence here on the forum?!?
  13. Welcome from GA.
  14. Exactly, a fancy fanny pack! Lol. At least someone thinks they're cool again!! On a serious note, I do think it'll work out though.
  15. No not quite. They have two clips that attach to your belt. Then it hangs down on your thigh. There's a smaller "belt" of sorts that wraps around the thigh to keep it tucked in tight. I'll see if I can find a picture of one... Very similar to this.
  16. Westgadad lost his out of a windshield mounted leather pouch deal on his bike one time. I had a good time picking on him about it for the weekend. Then on Monday he found it in the parking lot at work. We assume it must've bounced out just right as he went over a speed bump. Or his mistress gave it back.... Lol.
  17. In all fairness, it gave me the option to upload a pic in the edit mode. I think I messed up on my end. Typical.... Lolol. HA!!! Success!!!
  18. Guess not.... Sorry guys.
  19. Gonna try the whole edit thing and see if this works. 308
  20. @Cunuckgaucho That's pretty awesome! We've actually got a couple of pieces of tape on the hallway walls at different points that I/we sometimes dryfire at. I posted a pic in another thread of me with the .308 doing just that lol.
  21. Welcome from GA!
  22. @Mark Hartig Yeah, exactly.
  23. Armalite Ar10 rifle length gas tube. Got the last one the website listed on Saturday!
  24. Oh man, we always put a handful of jalapenos right up close on a handful of tomatoes. The tomatoes seem to pick up a bit of zing from the peppers. They are soooo good, especially when still green. It's not like a spicy tomato per say, but there's something extra there. Hard to explain without trying it, or we're crazy (very viable possibility lol). We swear by it, and very rarely do those particular tomatoes ever make it to maturity.
  25. Well guys, I figured I'd update on my decision. First off, thank you to all of y'all for the awesome input. As always, I just love you guys, best forum ever!!! So after a lot of different opinions on options and trying a few different things out in person, I've basically decided to break my steadfast rule of using a bag. There's just no way I/we can find for a 110-115#ish (depending on food to coffee ratio that day LOLOL) woman to realistically, totally, conceal a firearm with any real stopping power that isn't limited by capacity. On my body at least. So I've basically decided to get one of those little hipster looking thigh pouch deals that clips to your belt and then around your thigh. Harley Davidson has one that shouldn't look too out of place with my normal attire. We're planning on riveting a holster to the inside to keep everything secure and the trigger guard covered up. In the meantime (until I do another bike wash for HD and get a gift card lol) we've got a Russian gas mask bag that will suffice on the same principal. I'm gonna go to the craft store and get some heavier buckles for it, but it should do what I need it to do. It is a compromise from what I originally wanted to achieve, but such is life. On the upside, I can at least carry what I'm used too and feel good about it if I ever need it. There's just a overwhelming comfort for me knowing I have MY pistol, and knowing if I do my part, it will do the same. I've carried and practiced with MY 1911 so much over the last few years, it just feels right and natural. Know what I mean?
