I do t think you can go wrong with Aero Precision. I have two uppers and really like both one enhanced and not fond or the fact I have to use there hg

I don’t think it’s what is meant. See below for the description and after more checking I believe this will work in an Aero Precision receiver with a Ballistic Advantage barrel both in Dpms pattern.

Is a LR308 and the DPMS the same pattern? Been awhile ( pre pandemic) since I ordered parts and having trouble remembering the differences Looking at a ToolCraft bolt for my Aero build thanks for the help

What made you decide to move to the 308 AR/AR-10 Platform?

I felt under gunned while in the Army but love the M4 platform. 308 is a capable round for SD and hunting and is a standard round and seems to be a stocked round in many stores in like the Wildcats in AR15s -
I’ve got aero receivers (dpms pattern) with ballistic adv. barrel. So thinking some of my extra Ar15 parts should work on this build.

I have been searching for a thread I read a while back about AR15 and 308ARs parts that are inter changeable with out any luck. With this said My understanding is the parts below are inter changeable, please ad or correct me if wrong. safety trigger gas block gas tube this is all I can think of, input is appreciated.

Question is there a difference in the gas block for an AR10 and AR15? I don’t think there is but want to ask

I realized I did that just now lol. 16 in barrel with mid length gas system. I think I need a 12-12.5 HG thanks guys

Can someone tell me what length hg covers the gas block. I'm looking ant a 10.5 carbon fiber just not sure it’s long enough

So I decided to return this enhanced upper and exchange it for a standard receiver. The weight and the limited options for the HG are what made up my mind. I’ve already started the process

I have thought about sending it back in exchange for a standard upper, I just haven’t made up my mind about it. I really can’t believe the hg are so limited for this receiver.
