  1. Geissele makes good stuff for sure
  2. Lmao that’s the plan lol
  3. I try to have a spare parts kit on hand for my ARs but when I go looking at Aero for bcg parts I can’t find any. So I guess they want you to buy a complete bcg and keep on hand which I don’t want to do. Now I’m scouring the net for gas rings, firing pins and other little part that could be needed somewhere down the line. Who would you look to for your spare parts? im running an Aero M5 DPMS pattern.
  4. I had read the same thing about getting an Armalite gas tube so I tracked down one that measured 121/8. The day I assembled my upper it came time to install the BCG and noticed it wouldn’t slide all the way in. Then realized the gas tube was extending past the can pin cut out requiring a shorter gas tube. a quick swap with an 113/4 gas tube and it runs great. The pic shows the one that to long. The tube should be about center of the notch but if yours runs and it’s good for you run it.
  5. Just a guess maybe the extension on the tool can be swapped out. That would be nice but who knows
  6. There’s been some really nice animals posted here, maybe I’ll be able to post one this up coming year now that my AR308 is finished
  7. I’m using a Grendel as well for deer. Man that Grendel is impressive I think I’m not scared of heights but think that would scare me if the wind picked up.
  8. Ya need a 308 just for the rattlers, WOW!!!!!
  9. Wow there that tough to bring down?
  10. Welcome from Arizona, nice rifle.
  11. Hog hunter ha, you’re my hero. Lol
  12. Welcome from Arizona. You’ll find the AR308 you have is a hungry girl and you’ll need to reload to afford to feed her lol. You made a great choice with Aero.
  13. Your very welcome, I always check Amazon first because of the shipping. Sometimes it doesn’t work out but just never know
  14. It’s on Amazon here’s a pic. I don’t know how to post the link or I would.
  15. It’s so easy I just trim them to or close to minimal case length so they’re all the same. I’m not really a precision reloaded but do believe case prep is everything.
  16. Been hearing about this drill operated case trimmer by Little Crow GunWorks and decided to check them out. Needless to say I have two now and find them so much easier to use than my bench mount RCBS crank trimmer. I was always having and issue with getting a straight trim on the RCBS so going fast was out of the question at least for me. The Little Crow has no issues with that, and I find it’s consistent case after case. usually within a thousands and yes I check every case before going to the next step in case prep. It measures off the bottle neck and I was concerned at first thinking this wouldn’t be accurate but I’m impressed with the results. I found a glove was needed to hold the case the trimmer sometimes grabs the case and spends it and will hurt the hand if you’re not careful. If your needing a case trimmer definitely check this out.
  17. Glad to hear that I have plans for 165 and 168 sierra’s in mind.
  18. I was able to get some TAC at a pretty good price anyone tried this at all?
  19. I agree the perfect match barrel and big isn’t always the perfect match for what you do. I have been building with Ballistic advantage for along time now with Aero Precision matching receivers and have had no complaints. I don’t shoot for tight groups, I train and shoot like I did in the Army and hunt. At the same time we are fixing to see what it will do at long range or longer range as soon as I finish my load development. This is 16 in BA barrel and BCG, most of it is Aero except the HG. I went with Midwest ind. I’d love to put a carbon fiber HG on it just don’t have the money right now
  20. I actually really like that part because you can design it like you want it.
  21. Ya been awhile since I saw Large Rifle primers
  22. What’s your practice bullet in 308?Looking for a cheaper practice bullet to work a load up.
  23. Wow the price is bad but the hazmat fee is crazy. That’s the highest I’ve seen anywhere
