  1. great news <thumbsup>
  2. Hey Doc any chance you can grab some dimensions for us?
  3. BTW I think the JSE image for the SASS gas block is for the .750 version SASS and not the .936
  4. looks great man, glad to see you back <thumbsup>
  5. FYI Im seeing DPMS uppers costing in the mid to $800 range. You might be able get a complete rifle for nearly the same cash. It's crazy. DPMS has been having some good factory direct sales but Ill bet their delivery time frame blows.
  6. Long, thin and flexible, Ill bet the standard gas tube works without much issue. I checked the DPMS parts pages and there isnt a special tube listed. Cash permitting Im hoping to get a Fulton stripped upper by Xmas and put this all to rest.
  7. I thought it looked familiar <laughs>
  8. I found this listed at Brownells today. Looks pretty nice
  9. With so many manufacturers jumping in the 308 game It's no longer black and white DPMS vs AR-10. For parts availability and the best mags I believe DPMS is currently the best choice. Just don't buy a DPMS stripped upper. Go with Fulton Armory or somebody else. From what I hear Armalite parts availability is improving. Mags are limited and pricey. A good place to start for non Armalite AR-10 is Rainier Arms.
  10. Im in I just need to decide on what I need ;D
  11. Thats a great deal!!!
  12. looks like they are borrowing a little from PRI
  13. Blackheart just announced some new hardware but i didnt pay attention. Good post!
  14. Thats a good question. http://www.armalite.com/ItemForm.aspx?item=EA1165&Category=0db4d594-2661-45e9-b54d-c537311725f1
  15. Sweet <thumbsup>
  16. Im going to buy the DPMS block this week. I would like to get a standard .936 block in hand to compare and publish the data with pictures
  17. Without a doubt the barrel requires the DPMS proprietary gas block.
  18. Nice!
  19. maybe me too :)
  20. cool link <thumbsup>
  21. and this is exactly why this site was created. <thumbsup>
  22. If nobody chimes in I can try calling in a favor.
  23. Correct. I think shortening an AR-15 buffer still does not produce one of the correct weight even if the length is machined the same.
