  2. Were you using a 12 gauge with buckshot <lmao>
  3. Man it was a tough trip. I really liked the Bushmaster ACR, its very comfy. The Socom's were less appealing this outing. There was a S&W 1911 I liked except for the "DK" on the slide. There was a Les Baer that was machined nice, had all the right stuff except the finish was terrible for a $400 get let alone a $2000. Eventually I drilled it down to two Kimbers. There was a custom shop model that was exactly what I wanted for $2000 and a Tactical LE II for $1199. In the end I chose the Tactical as It was much different than anything I own and i figured I could spend the difference finishing these to projects I have going on here. there was several runners up but they lacked the correct checkering or any checkering at all.
  4. actually its very smooth, surprisingly so.
  5. I don't want to pressure you. ;D I actually need to ship the remainder to Survivalshop. Its freaking out my coworkers to see a pile of ammo in ziploc bags at my desk
  6. For examination purchases I ordered on of these BCG's from JSE for $210. It ended up being $221.90 delivered. It was in my stubby little fingers 4 days later. Anyhow on a brief fondling it seems to be made very well. Machined clean and the parts all fit well. Im pretty impressed at this point. I guess I need to build an upper around it now to try it out. <laughs>
  7. The last time I hit this place they had the AR-30 .338LM, SA SOCOM II in urban camo and a sweet little HK .45 rifle on the wall. Thank god my credit cards were maxed out. Probably still claw marks on the wall from being dragged out. Tomorrow Im carrying cash :)
  8. as soon as I saw that post I was on him <laughs>
  9. Now Im going in with the intention of buying a nice 1911. Who knows what I will walk out with <laughs> Im totally impulse shopping <lmao>
  10. you know whats bad, I have a good online buddy who works a Rainier. He knows how to get my juices going.
  11. How about some custom anodizing or cerakote? I got some fabric from A-Tacs. I would love a weapon in that pattern. Unique
  12. Werent you showing some interest in the Bad News .338 when you first showed up here? A friend recently emailed me that he ordered a TRG 42 in .338 after being impressed with the TRG 22 he bought a while back. Do you ever wonder if I post these links with you in mind? <lmao> <laughs>
  13. I got a man inside at Rainier. He got to handle a sample set and was very impressed.
  14. Theres been a few versions. Someone posted the dimensions in another thread. Im sticking with Fulton Armory if I want a DPMS.
  15. Yes, Fulton Armory lists it on their Titan parts page. Its not first hand but I trust them. <thumbsup>

  20. yeah, if and when the time comes Ill send out a newsletter and also announce it on the main site. I just hope we can do substantially better than the JSE prices. A small difference is not worth it.
