  1. Yep, thanks for registering and posting
  2. My Para P12 has a hefty capacity for its size ;D
  3. Anyone try these? Heres the info from his site CS SR25/AR10 Magazine Springs After hearing, and experiencing, numerous magazine failures in magazines for these rifles, we decided to produce a better spring. The problem is rarely in the magazine box and is most often in the follower spring, and frequently both. Our CS [chrome silicon] spring represents the ultimate in magazine upgrades. It solves virtually all magazine-related function problems, for good. The CS SR-25/AR-10 Magazine Spring provides positive pre-load against the follower. Consistent, constant tension is the key. As with other CS springs, it has extra power (+10-percent) and faster rebound. Plus, there is less drag against the magazine side walls for freer movement. These attributes are of utmost importance to the NRA High Power competitor who is frequently relying on bolt stop engagement on an empty magazine and also positive feeding from underloaded magazines. Our CS spring is angled correctly to locate the follower in its optimum orientation. This design modification alone fixes a majority of feeding problems. Another advantage of this spring is faster, more positive bolt stop engagement, saving wear on the part and also ensuring its correct function. As with all CS springs, the superior chrome silicon material will perform its job perfectly well beyond the life of any magazine. This spring length fits all magazine configurations available for the SR-25, AR-10, DPMS .308 LR, M1A/M14, and others. This spring also works with TUBB 2000 magazines. Please note that our "20-round"designation does not necessarily refer to the actual round capacity of the magazine. Our 20-round spring fits any size magazine box, including those blocked or manufactured to 5, 8, or 10 round capacities. DOWNLOAD brochure for trimming instructions.
  4. Lets hear about it!!
  5. When the weather breaks in March or so Im going to be going through a variety of 168gr .308 match ammo. Hopefully I will have a second rifle to test at that point as well. Heres the list so far. I may add more based on this thread. Later I will follow up with the cheap stuff.
  6. Im also going to be gathering info here at the main site
  7. DPMS publicly recommends and offers JP Enterprises. By most reports the number one trigger if cost is no option is the Geiselle. Rock River Arms National Match is probably one of if not THE most popular options. Sending the stock trigger to Bill Springfield is also very popular. I recently installed the American Trigger SR Gold and a 3# Jard single stage adjustable. The AT is fantastic but costs as much as the Geiselle. I cant compare the AT to the Geiselle as I have never used a Geiselle. Next weekend I will compare the Jard to the American Trigger. The Jard with its adjustabilty was a little bit of a pain to install (Ill post about that later) The American Trigger feels like the trigger on a fine bolt action rifle rather than a semi auto .308 Keep in mind most AR-15 triggers will work in the .308. The detail to watch for is clearance between the carrier and the hammer.
  8. Thanks for posting JD
  9. that was a great deal, awesome
  10. Brownells has Armalite AR-10 magazines in stock and at a reasonable price.
  11. so this 2-3 day turnaround is for the completed rifle? Damn Ive been waiting on a barrel for 9 months ;D
  12. Kevin at KAC states that they ship these. Says they ship them with the M110's
  13. man thats sweet
  14. Lets see pictures of this stuff when and if you can.
  15. Thats is a nice case. I would lie something like that for my FS2000 btw - There's a brand new gear section now.
  16. whoa, thats freaking cool.
  17. Hows the AR57? I like the concept of it.
  18. Guys have been chomping at the bit for these 7.62 Pmags for a long time. I havent heard any negative feedback yet so thats a good sign. The 5.56 version of the Pmag has a cult following with AR-15 guys. Im not sure what makes the DPMS factory mags so pricey. I get them pretty cheap from sportsmans guide from time to time. I like the C Products in my AR-'s so thats what I have mostly been purchasing for mt LR-308. Plus Im helping out a local business at the same time.
  19. If I wasnt a lefty I would get the smooth sided upper too. The stock is the AR-10/SR-25 version of the Magoul PRS I have better pictures here
  20. That's pretty neat. I hadnt seen .308's in 80% before
  21. I like the fluted barrel. Awesome on the purchase
  22. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wpj7F5j-czw
  23. Welcome draco41. Thanks for joining. Its nice to have folks making their presence known :)
  24. Just an FYI the 24" barrel is a heavy sucker, no (or difficult) off hand shooting . If you let lefties borrow it they might miss the shell deflector. Anyhow that is a great price and an excellent place to start imo. I saw a complete lower for $750 recently. Are you going to do it?
