  1. Welcome sir!!
  2. LOL, popcorn fart, obviously a Maine thing - I say it all the time and these Texans don't know wtf I'm talking about.
  3. Thanks all.
  4. And that is probably exactly why many UN member countries would like to disarm our population, so they can bring a ground fight to us.
  5. Not really, no more than has been mentioned. This has been known for a while though.
  6. Has anybody used these, or know anything about them? http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=23976/sku=152000054/Product/EARPRO_SONIC_DEFENDERS?mc_ID=5514
  7. Well, that's what the H is for. :) You're right on though, I handled one and they are indeed nose heavy.
  8. Cool, bgc!

  11. I have a couple hundred rounds of their .223 stuff, but never shot it.
  12. Ha, no, no sales pitch here. I'm a member of a private club (Bayou Rifles). We have two ranges, one is at Eldridge Parkway and I-10 and the other is down by 288 and the Beltway. The one in Addicks Reservoir is pistol and rimfire rifle. The one down south has shotgun, pistol and rifle ranges at 100, 200, 300, 600 and 1000 yards. The one at Eldridge and I-10 is handy to the NW part of town and we have steel silhouettes for pistol bullseye or rimfire rifle and a few short-work pistol ranges, very nice to get away from the idiots of the general public. It's $140 / year. For me, it's like 5 miles away and worth every penny to be able to go whenever I want and have only other members shooting around me. <thumbsup>
  13. Welcome! When I was putting my POF together I originally wanted the Vltor IMOD clubfoot, but it wasn't readily available. I ended up with the Magpul ACS and it's great.
  14. Small sample from that shoot - in the last pic she's holding my FNP-9 and FNP-45. http://www.behance.net/gallery/Big-Trucks-and-Big-Guns/1093395 :o
  15. edge - did you post this on the 22 site? I've had it happen a few times. I think the problem lies with the angle of exit from the mags. It seems on mine they can vary, and I can sometimes get halfway through a mag and one will come out at a bad angle and _crunch_.
  16. I was hoping more people would weigh in on this.
  17. Welcome outdare! I'm also NW -- been to Hot Wells a bunch, they're about the only place around I can shoot my class 3 stuff. <thumbsup> If you're into any caliber pistol, or rimfire rifle shooting, I can tell you about the best deal around this city!
  18. How well does that bump-fire stock work? Can you control the bursts like the guy in the video? How is shot placement?
  19. I shared the video and my opion with my chief instructor and here is his response.
  20. Just sent an email to 20 others as well. <thumbsup>
  21. I just did this as well 98, thanks for posting it!! Your link was the thank you page, and after some searching I found the card page: LINK
  22. I came here from northern Maine. I know cold winters well. :o
  23. I figured it was a stretch. ;D I think you would be disappointed in Houston as it is now. I've been here 17 years now and like it less and less every year. Sorry to get off-topic. <thumbsup>
  24. Good looking stuff man! So, I gotta ask, are you in Houston? I ask because of your screen name. We had a pitcher for the Astros (Roy Oswald) and his fans at the games called themselves the "Os Bros". Just curious.. <thumbsup>
  25. And btw Jgun, this is a perfect place to put this thread. <thumbsup>
