I'm an instructor at a martial arts school, American Black Belt Academy here in West Houston. When I lived in Maine I spent 6 years at an Okinawan Kempo school and did a lot of tournament fighting throughout New England. I've been in this current school for 13 years, and instructing here for the past 10.

What are you guys using? I need some 30mm high rings.

At the SHOT show last week, my friend and I talked to Geissele for a while and checked out all 3 triggers they were displaying. They had some specials going, and my friend bought two of their match drop-in triggers. I should have gotten one too, but didn't.

Thanks gents! I've got the scope now, but no rings yet. I do have some ammo in hand though, ready to take it out.

I get most everything though MidwayUSA that I can. They're huge supporters of the NRA, and I have a friend who works on their database team - he says it's the best copany on the world he can imagine working for. Plus they have a huge inventory and their prices are usually real good.

First, Welcome! Re: RRA -- IMHO, RRA are top-quality rifles. I don't know if .308 is too big for CQB, but for home defense I would be weary because of how you'll penetrate walls.

What do you guys recommend? My DPMS is 43.5" overall.

Good stuff man, sounds right on. What I will do is break it down and CLP the typical stuff. I will bring a bore snake and CLP with me and run the snake through at some frequency I think is right, maybe wipe the action once or twice while I'm out there as well. I'm just waiting on my scope to arrive, but with the SHOT show coming up next week, I might have to wait until February...

I was told on another forum that this Senator wasn't as anti-gun as reported by the media (wow, the media lied?!?). So, take the story with a grain of salt.
