  1. Thanks @ARTrooper! That .338lm barrel is 22” and I swear by that length for combat application. You can get a little bit more from a 28” or 32” but you’re losing the ability to be a “Combat Rifle”. The CR-7 was not designed to kill paper or punish steel plates. It was designed to make the job of a combat marksman a LOT easier. I define this tool as an “extreme long range threat interdiction combat rifle” its a mouthful, but a weapon of this magnitude needs it. Truth!
  2. We are actually working on our own composite material that we have been testing in .30 cal rifles. We are also entertaining the concept of brass vs copper for value.
  3. Zelle is good too
  4. All reloading dies are through Pacific Tool & Gauge. Dave Kiff (owner of PT&G) helped me finalize the design. He’s already making them and thy will be available.
  5. This is so badass. I’m jealous of your skills here
  6. You can say that twice!
  7. We are going to be making lead-free projectiles. We have our own composite material we are experimenting with. We are also looking into brass projectiles to reduce material costs. Brass is slightly lighter than copper, but with the right dimensions it shouldn’t be noticeable.
  8. They are. We made them in house. I still have yet to get an accurate weight.... but I brought my 308AR.com approved coke scale. I’ll weigh them tonight.
  9. Me! www.CROMUSA.com should be going live soon. We designed the cartridge and we will be hosting a full layout dedicated to the cartridge. If you’re looking for similar performance, at subsonic, you can also research the .510 Whisper. The biggest difference between the two is the astronomical range of projectiles that the 500 Blackout covers. We are currently working on a 185gr supersonic projectile and an 1100gr subsonic projectile. CROM will hosting their own homegrown cartridge... the “Emergency 911gr” BTHP
  10. Oh wait... wrong Jesus
  11. That’s only because he chose Tequila
  12. I’m conditioning my liver as we type this out.
  13. First up... Condition Red Ordnance Manufacturing CR-7 you all knew I was bringing a .338 Lapua Magnum to the show... but here’s something very new... You’re reading that right. Condition Red Ordnance Manufacturing has designed and started production of the all new 500 Blackout cartridge. The release of the CR-7 “ZERO DARK FIFTY”!!! a true .50 caliber in a usable platform. Able to launch a subsonic 1000 grain projectile!!! The whole package only weighing 10.6 lbs in this picture (the prototype is much heavier than what a production model will weigh) We’re not just making the rifle either... we’re making the cartridge too.
  14. Stay tuned for lots...
  15. I’m here... and this shit is happening.
  16. I use them in a 762x39 AR. They are more finicky than others, but generally break in. I cleaned mine up with some light filing and polishing.
  17. I got the PM’s.
  18. Ok. This is happening now. We are headed to SHOT this week, so all the bolts will be shipped the following week, around February 1st. All payments can be made through me. I accept PP (rob@308ar.com) and Venmo (PM for info) $85ea, free shipping. This is a one time offer, and once these unique bolts are gone, they are gone.
  19. Some of the best stories end with the phrase, “what the fuck did we just do?”
  20. That new Sub2k that takes G19 mags looks like a well thought out plan. The first gen wasn’t applied well, but the second gen looks perfect. I’d like to see a non-reciprocating modification for the bolt handle. I really like MI’s swinging red dot mount.
  21. The KSG7 just got announced.
