I found several sources stating that it’s a NO GO in Ohio. Without diving further into it, I’m assuming they have a more detailed definition of a “shotgun” than the Feds... similar to my own PRK.

It’s legal because it is NOT shotgun or a rifle, it is just a “firearm”.... per the federal BATFE definition By definition, to be a shotgun or a rifle, it must be originally designed with a stock, a specific length barrel (smooth or rifled, depending on type). To be a pistol it must have an overall length of less than 26”. If it never had a “stock” or an appropriate length barrel, then it can’t be a shotgun or a rifle. If it’s too large (over 26”) to be concealed then it’s not a pistol. That makes it just a “firearm”. Some states have more specific definitions of what makes a rifle, shotgun or pistol... California says a shotgun is any firearm chambered to shoot a shotgun shell. That’s above and beyond the federal BATFE definition.

I will put down a $100 to say the US military will NOT be replacing the 5.56x45 for their standard issue ammunition. I know there are special units using boutique stuff. There always has been. The concept of scrapping 1/4 million rifles and several billion rounds of ammo for an insignificant (possibly nonexistent) upgrade is asinine. The next generation of firearm will be an electronically assisted projectile. The technology is theoretically possible already, and on the verge of discovery. The 5.56 will be replaced with a steel constructed projectile, traveling hypersonic speeds.

That doesn’t sound alcoholic in the least bit. Try replacing the teaspoon of caramel with a teaspoon of whiskey. Tgeb replace the mini snickers with another teaspoon of whiskey. Then replace the cocoa mix with a glass of whiskey. You can add whiskey fot flavor. Drink that around family this year, and establish a patriarchal dominance of the holiday.
