I have a few of those. They take a little bit of getting used to. I still have to visually look at my Safety when I use them... I don’t have the same kinestetic memory as I do with a standard selector. I still like them a lot, just not 100% comfortable yet.

You’ll like this one a lot then. The auto 5 second ride is there, but we can bypass that, and ride this thing out till the battery dries up.

I look forward to seeing how this plays out. There’s absolutely no reason why this shouldn’t be under 6 pounds when completed.

Get out the coke scale and micrometer. Are you going with a 16” LW barrel or a shorter medium contour barrel? I’m a BIG fan of the new Faxon Big Gunner barrels. That barrel and a Ti muzzle device make for a GREAT swinging rifle.

My 17” rifle length is .099” I cut some new barrels and had to open them to .105 and .110 honestly, you can only really open up to about .115 effectively. The gas block is only .125 in diameter. Drilling a barrel to .115 or even .120 only leaves you a .005 to .0025 shelf to get centered. If you drill the barrel port to .125, and you don’t get exactly centered you’re likely to have at least .0025 offset on each side.
