  1. Well this bitch Fu cked me. Our initial flight out of Denver has been canceled for a later one. Now Bradley international in Hartford is closed Monday. Period. Not even going to try. So we are stuck in Charlotte Monday, and perhaps Tuesday, unknown, on our dime. All the car rental places are out, I thought about driving home, negative. :tfg: sandy!
  2. No offense taken. I would like to point out that there are a few more fail safes in place for Leo where as civilians are just checking out criminal histories. Leo's tend to have go through psychology examination as part of the job. I'm putting in the effort, I'll accept the rewards
  3. Awesome. We are flying out of Denver on Monday with a layover in Charlotte, (remember the last one?! ), this is going to blow. Going running calll you in a few.
  4. Again another reason to hate being in Massachusetts, can't wait for Leo status.
  5. Check out Centurion C4 rails. I have a 12" I got from Rainier, it's super light and is a solid fit. Here is a pic from when I duracoated my mk12 build. These were mock up pics, I haven't chosen a barrel yet for this second upper.
  6. Figures, first I've heard of this still being in AZ, and we are coming home into it!? Drew, if you could send me some info in a pm, I have limited internet access out here. Shit, hope its passed for my state trooper exam, that is rain or shine...
  7. Welcome to the forum Nice build sheet but I do have question, I am quoting you as saying this is a no holds barred build, correct, but I see you bought a Rainier Select barrel. Why skimp on the single most important part concerning accuracy?? Why not buy the Ultramatch? ??
  8. I concur! And now after a morning of motorcycle riding, Tom and I are off to the range....... teaser pic!
  9. I got both of them, and Jon. I'll post it next week when I get home <thumbsup>
  10. :o. Uh oh, can't remember what I did, admitted too, or was accused of there was so much laughter! Shheeeit!
  11. Was an awesome time! Honored to have met Mike and Jon, two fine fellows! We had a few bets going that I'm sure you all heard about. First was an Appleseed style shoot, followed by a 1911 showdown, the 14.5" 5.56 at 500 yards with a red dot sight, and the last was woody (20" ar15 ) irons only on a 200 yard swinger. Tom has the actual scores on the Appleseed, but the finishing order was me, Rob, then Tom. Next up was Tom and I shooting the .45's, I just scraped by. Wait, where was Rob you say? " I forgot my money in the hotel! " yeah sure! The red dot challenge I was thoroughly thrashed by Tom who hit it on his third shot. Somehow I did not get a hit, with the same hold over.... Don't let Rob spot for you! Last was woody on the 200 yard swinger. At this point Rob was shunned, I spotted for Tom, he spotted for me. Tom was 9/10, beating my 8/10 score. All that aside I have high definition video and awesome pics of a great time in the desert! There was even a conference call to Rene, keeping him there in spirit! All other evidence will get posted when I get home. Few more hours left here with Rob and his wife, several more days for me.... stay tuned!

  16. Blue, take care of you and the family, we can catch up another visit. As for the bags ..... those fuckers misplaced my checked baggage, and if you have followed this thread, you can imagine my displeasure! All is well now, and this trip will be documented! 21. when you buy a lower parts kit for your lower receiver, you will get a buffer retainer and buffer retainer spring that will fit into the lower receiver. they will hold you buffer and spring in place. let us know when you get them and we'll help you in assembly also in regards to robocop's comment, depending on the stock you have, you may or may not have the right buffer tube, hopefully when you ordered them the sales person was knowledgable to get the right items for you.
