  1. Big Mike has some in his back yard, and around the sides. Heather's hiked them before and wants to this time to show me some glyphs and such, but my guess is she wont be feeling like it when we get out there. She's showing good now, and has her own Mtns to deal with <lmao>
  2. Hopefully more precautions can be made from this, but most likely not. Amazing how the media says that the drug traffic slows down when it cools yet both shooting happen in fall and winter.
  3. That seems like it would be hard as hell to remember where to pickup all your bacon, and a bit challenging
  4. Congrads! How about some pics!
  5. i have two jamis', i wasn't bad mouthing them! ;D i was recommending them, and they have road bikes too!
  6. just remember, this years xtr is next years xt….. ::) …. shoulda got a jamis! yuck yuck! <laughs> peddles and saddles are worth the cash though for sure.
  7. They are all nice, but if you aren't racing, then the Giant will be enough bike. Small part upgrades once you find out what you don't like is cheaper than the 1k entry buy of the others, and it's unlikely you'll upgrade enough to reach that point. We have some real nice trail riding up here if you want to dust off the mtn bike :)
  8. double up the kudos! I love mine and will never use another!
  9. Of course, he's a pro! :hail: :strokin:
  10. Yes! Fuzzy face pants down hugs!
  11. Oh, of course it does... :cookoo:
  12. uhhh, in case you need to fire on yourself? I don't get it.
  13. thanks Pat, this is a everlasting arguement…. except one one side gets to argue usually, and that's the piston side. I have both, albeit in two totally different rifles. (20" Larue OBR, DI, set up as a "sass" with optics, prs, ect. and a 14.5" pws mk214 piston gun with irons and a light, more for a light battle type rifle.) I personally feel that for a civilian or hobbyist, the DI will never, yes never, fail you unless you don't care for your rifle for years! Even military usage will not encounter problems because they clean their rifles. I think the only real advantage piston guns may excel at is full auto use, where it will use it's strong points to keep the weapon cooler and cleaner in situations where thousands of rounds will be fired in a single session. just my opinions, coming first hand from what I have experienced. thanks for posting that, it should be interesting to hear everyones point of view
  14. I believe Tactical Machining tm10 upper will fit also, they are a site sponsor, click link on right <thumbsup>
  15. I can tell too, fireworks are illegal here and usually only come about in July and sometimes September, so those are a totally different report, and back fires don't seem to have " that something" to put me on alert.
  16. LMT sued them over copyright infringement, so they decided to stop instead of fighting it out and go in a different direction…. with a new yet to be unveiled direction. I have a matched gtr-3h set thats sweet, so I can't wait to see what they do. A top manufacturer in my book, and not too many here would argue!
  17. what about a cheaper method, since we are brain storming, locking style rail covers that you mount extending a bit. I know it may look funny but it may only cost 15-20 bucks to try out. good idea about contacting Mega, but keep in mind they no longer make the mono, so making a part that has limited longevity may not be profitable enough for them. try to take a measurement to see how much more real estate you need covered.
  18. it's good, we cover all hours of the night, 7 days a week <thumbsup>
  19. can't picture that ever happening, too many ass kissing liberal lovers not fighters
  20. damn it, I like Judge Dredd… >:(
  21. ok, now we know what we are dealing with <thumbsup> what gas block are you currently using? what is the shoulder length of the gas block area ( not sure if that is the proper terminology?) lets do this! 8)
  22. how about some pics to help us a little more, and money restrictions ;)
  23. here too, our one saving grace!
