I'm on Full30 - but I can't find the topic... If some of you guys can find the topic on Full30, where some shiit-schmuck was challenging me on the Hilltop exchange - if anyone can point me back to that thread over on Full30... I'll post this vid. I TRIED to tell that dumbass, TRIED. Those Rangers on Hilltop had ZERO INTENTION on killing anyone that night. That dumb fuk over on Full30 was talking mass shiit about how Rangers suck, can't shoot, and if they could, Bangers would'a been dead. He didn't listen to the schoolin' I was trying REALLY HARD to give him, and wanted to argue. This vid will explain, PAINFULLY, what I was trying to tell him, through his hard-as-nails Dumb-as-shiit brainpan.

Loose Beaver Causes Communication Problem In Canada

I think saline is the sharks downfall. Bitch can only operate in salt. Beaver don't care - just wants to fight. -
Loose Beaver Causes Communication Problem In Canada
98Z5V replied to Armed Eye Doc's topic in Club House
I want to get more into the conversation, just based on this statement. Sharks and beavers. Saline, non-saline. Beavers vs. Sharks. This intrigues me. I want to fight them, against each other. I think Beavers will crush it. JMHO. -
Background: I did 12 years at Ft Lewis, 10 years at 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne). 1st SFG(A). 1992 to 2004. Owned a house there, in Spanaway. Tacoma could be a great place to live during that time - and there were absolute shiit-hole areas. One of those areas was Tillicum, WA. Small bullshiit "town" right outside Madigan Gate of Ft Lewis. It was "Madigan Gate" because Madigan Army Medical Center (Hospital) was right inside that gate - at one point, it was one of the only Level I Trauma/Medical Centers south of Seattle. Level I Medical Centers are a big deal. Closer to Tacoma, than Seattle? You get transported to Madigan, instead of Harborview, in Seattle. Civilians included. Gang-Bangers included. For real. Bangers shooting themselves up in drug wars, and get brought onto a military fucking base, so they can "live again." Unreal. It was unreal. Treating Bangers, ON POST! Never thought I'd ever see it, but it happened. The 1st SFG(A) Compound was right across the street from Madigan... We were "neighbors." So, Tillicum was a shiithole, right outside Madigan gate - there's some shiithole right outside every single military fort or base. This was the one, for Ft Lewis. Bangers everywhere, thugs, shady motherfuckers hiding in the shadows. All over. FML, closest 7/11 to me after midnight, when I'm on Staff Duty, was right there. NEVER HAD AN ISSUE. Thugs targets victims. Simple answer - don't be a victim. Don't look like a victim. What you need to do is walk around and look like you'll fuckin' CRUSH someone if they fuk with you. There was NEVER an issue in Tillicum between Bangers and someone in uniform - we're talking military uniform. They knew better. On all the times my number came up for Staff Duty, I'd go for coffee at that 7/11 at 2am. Then again at 3am. Just because. Those are the times that the bars cleared out, and the after-effects of bars clearing out. I picked those time to get my coffee. Saw many, many "unsavory specimens" every time I went down there - but never a problem. They knew the deal, and it wasn't personal, wasn't a certain "presence" or anything - they just knew that you didn't fuk with the military people, in general. If you fuk with military personnel - you'll wind up "Hilltop" - that's what the local Bangers called it. "Yo, man! Don't Hilltop us with this shiit!!!" That legend went far, and for the right reasons. The Bangers right then, when it went down - "we don't want none of this..." Never been a problem since.

^^^ FML - I can NEVER get tired of hearing this story...

Just for feedback - I've never used them. Won't, either. I can tell you that I've only used Geissele Reaction Rods, and never not once had an issue using them. My 5.56 Reaction Rod is very heavily used, and abused. My .308 Reaction Rod (previously) didn't see as much action as the 5.56 did - but I now have it in my Gun Pusher's shop, on permanent loan - if I ever need it, I go by and pick it up, use it at home, and get it back to him. It's gone through hundreds of builds, just in the shop. It's been in his shop for years - and when it's time to build up a Large-Frame gun, he usually calls me to do it. So, not the feedback you were really looking for on your specific tool - but feedback on the tools in general. The first one made (the Geissele) is the best one, IMHO.

@Armed Eye Doc, that baby-bull is gonna get you...

Absolutely. Go ahead and pin the gas tube in the gas block - you'll never have to undo it (unless it's not long enough). Slide that block on the barrel until it seats on the shoulder, and see how far the gas tube protrudes into the upper receiver. If it's perfect, the tube will end in the very center of the cam pin cutout in the upper. If it's too short, you'll know right away. Here's what right looks like: EDIT - Gas port info... 18" midlength gas barrels (in .308 Win chambering) that are using a 0.750" gas block journal size need a gas port range of 0.080"~0.085" to run properly. I've skipped the lower part of that and gone straight to 0.085" on a few, and they eat anything I feed them. Even junk ammo. For a 16" barrel, you have 2" less dwell time, so you'll need to up your gas port diameter. I'd start right away with 0.085", knowing that you might have to go up to 0.090" in the long run. Since you're using an adjustable gas block, there is absolutely zero penalty in going straight to 0.090" in the first place - because if it's slightly large, you can dial the gas back down with that block adjustment. Verify your gas block journal diameter of 0.750" before drilling anything - I know that's what it is, but verify that number, and get back in here right away of it's different, for some reason. Gas block journal diameter directly affects proper gas port diameter. Hope that makes sense.

Yep, should be any day. I was in on the very first announcement of a pre-order, for $90. I think that was in November last year. I understand the situation, it ain't up to them. Can't wait to try them out and see how they do up against the Walker Silencer 2.0s that I've been using. Those are a 26 NRR, and do pretty damn good.

Well, there's proof - you just looked at it - JP did DPMS-based receivers. Even as an 18B, that doesn't mean that you know everything about all weapons, all the time. "they only make their own AR10 or Armalite pattern receivers for large frame receivers now and have for a few years as far as I know I have never bought a large frame JP" If you never bought a large-frame JP... then... how do you know their past? You just were given a video of a JP large frame, so it's kinda hard to get beyond that, and claim they never did it. What Group were you in?

Jam Seth Anthony over a million views - he deserves it. Post this thing anywhere you can, encourage others to hear this song. It's the most patriotic thing I've heard in a few years, and he does it well. Help it get there - he's at 813,076 views now. I've pimped this one since the beginning, and was bitching to get it to other, lower levels before. This song is the sheeiit. Patriot's Pledge.

FWIW - there is not, and never has been, a 6" buffer, ever. Not for AR15, not for .308AR, for nothing. Ever. Not even Rock River Arms. Aero Precision seriously fukked that up when they listed that on their website. Badly. They can contact me via PM or right here publicly, if they want to discuss that erroneous listing. I'll debate them, and let them know the errors of their website-guy's ways. That animal doesn't exist.

Easy, man - ALL rifle receiver extensions, just like the one that you linked above, are 9 11/16" internal depth. All of them. Some places say "A1" and some places say "A2~!" - those A1~A2 differences are 100% external to the Rifle Receiver Extension. Not internal. There's hardly a company out there that fuks up the Rifle Receiver Extension, so trust what you linked - buy the AP that you linked. Get it. Rifle Receiver Extensions measure 9 11/16" internal depth. Get the buffer I linked - get that one. Combine those two parts with the Armalite EA-1095 recoil spring - and heavybuffers.com will send you that very spring, if you ask Clint @ Heavybuffers.com to send it to you with your buffer - he believes in them, and knows they work. He stocks them, in his shop. If, for some reason, you can't find the Armalite EA-1095 recoil spring, or Clint @ Heavybuffers is out of them - then the next best choice for the proper spring is Sprinco, and buy their Red Spring. That's the most-closest to an Armalite EA-1095 on the planet. THAT will give you a solid recoil system that will not fail you. If you have issues after that - it will not be from your recoil system. Or, I'll buy all your parts from you that you had to buy, and I'll use them. Full-rip retail, plus shipping-twice, straight to me - whatever it cost you in the whole process. Many guys here try to duplicate my "money-back guarantee," but I'll tell you this - I've never had to pay anyone here for parts that didn't work. What I recommend works. You get that recoil system that I've lined out. After that, we fix your gas system. Your gas port is too small, I already know that, and know what it needs to be. You get the barrel in-hand, and we check the gas tube for the proper protrusion into the upper receiver - if it's screwed, I'll tell you what gas tube you need to fix that issue. After that, you'll have a running gun, at the lightest recoil that you can possibly have, and it will eat ANY commercial ammo that you throw at it. I stand by that.

I have ZERO. Well, I have 3. One is for @shooterrex, one is for @blue109, and one is for Kim's .260 Rem gun. So, technically, 3 are sitting here. But, I have none... Sad Panda... -

I'm still holding out - this is just a test of my own will power, just to do this. I have a LaRue 18" Grendel barrel, with their gas block, gas tube, and muzzle brake - sitting... Yes, just sitting... It's been sitting since sometime in late 2020... I'm hanging on, and doing well... -
JP makes (or did make) DPMS LR-308-based receivers, as well. Here are some pics: Play this vid...

16" is gonna be midlength gas for the Aero/Ballistic Advantage barrel. 18" midlength gas needs a gas port that's 0.085" or damn close, and the 16" has a little less dwell time over that 18". I'm gonna go out on a limb here and state that your gas port is going to be too small, and will need drilled. Try it first and report back, but it'll need to go up. FWIW, there is no 6" receiver extension, or buffer, for a .308AR, so a link to what you're getting might help. Internal depth of a rifle receiver extension is 9 11/16". If we can see it, we'll know better what to suggest.

Loose Beaver Causes Communication Problem In Canada

Those are the most valuable lessons, right there... -
All adjustable gas blocks should be started WIDE OPEN. All the way. That's the only way you'll ever know if the gas port in your barrel is big enough, without wasting a ton of ammo as an expensive experiment - before you find that out.

Rifle receiver extension. This recoil system that you need will be a fixed stock - this will not be a carbine, collapsible stock setup.
