  1. I don't doubt that at all...
  2. Same here! DAMN!
  3. When those things kick up, during monsoon, it's raining mud... I think this is that "Heat Dome" thing that's crushing the midwest right now - it's expanding, and getting us both!
  4. It's "just another Grendel," brother... The 12.5" does 850 yards with 10-ish mils of drop. Ridiculous. I don't know where it drops off at, and becomes "inaccurate." We'll find out this Fall, though, and test that little bastard. This 16" should be good for 1k yards, easy. ... ... How in the hell are we getting close to 1k yards with a 16" small-frame AR?!!? This is unreal... How the hell did we get to 850-ish yards with a 12.5" Grendel?!... This is just nuts. I'm dumbfounded by this cartridge - don't know how it does it. @washguy, how those 6.8 SPCs doin' for ya?...
  5. This kinda sneaked up on me, and I didn't even know it. I blame it on @Matt.Cross, completely. He ambushed me by leaving parts laying around my house, after the Spring Shoot. He knew exactly what he was doing by doing that - but I didn't know what he was doing. I'm telling you, it was a straight-up ambush... A few weeks ago, when I discovered what these "left behind parts" really were, I asked him about them, and shiit just sky-rocketed after that. Killer deals for Independence sales, etc., it was outta control. This project quickly turned into a 16" Grendel M4 setup. In a WEEK. It's fucking stupid. I can explain it, but I'm too frustrated to explain it now, after the set-up that I was tricked into, "by my buddy..." All I need to do to get you guys complete pics of a complete rifle is swing in to my GUn Pushers Palace in the morning, and pick up a standard Aero lower. Right after that, it's a complete Grendel. #4, for the record. These things are addictive, I warn you now. Upper is done tonight. All parts besides that lower are right here. Full description coming, once I get it all together. Final optic will be a surprise - I have a plan...
  6. It's pretty sweet driving through those things, though - seriously. It shows you how stupid some people really are... Gotta service the K&N air filter on the little Nissan tomorrow, though...
  7. Damn, that is one FINE looking receiver, SS!!!
  8. Armadillos are a$sholes, brother. Fuk them. There's no other way to describe them. I'd rather fight an Ant Eater than drive a car and hit a fucking armadillo...
  9. You are that guinea pig, man. Let us know...
  10. Wild that it's winter there, and I'm dealing with this shiit... Fuk me, man, it got hot here today. Hottest day we've had all year. I just heard the news say 114, AZCentral is reporting 115... Fucking miserable at work - even with AC. The damn AC couldn't keep up. On top of that, we got hit with a haboob. Couple highways on the way home closed due to dust- but I've already figured out my backroads-route home now, just because of traffic. What usually take 1:15 to drive took 1:30 - not bad.
  11. ^^^ I second that. There's tons of info out there on the .www about it. Maybe they changed the materials? Maybe they changed the design? Not worth the risk to just blindly order, and hope for a good one, without doing the research first. There's information out there that goes back more than a decade... Hell, I'm pretty sure it even happened to blue109 here.
  12. NICE!!! I love it when a plan comes together...
  13. Yeah, you do... Update: http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/07/05/conservative-graduate-who-posed-with-gun-in-viral-photo-fires-big-scary-rifle-in-video.html
  14. A couple of good patriotic commercials - from patriotic companies that get it. These videos might be more appropriate on Veteran's Day, or Memorial Day... Or today. Today is about Patriotism, service, and sacrifice, which all started on 19 April, 1775. And even before. The brutality and the abuse of "the crown" was long before that, but it reached a boiling point on 19 April, 1775, and the fight went for 14 months, until we reached a point where we could declare our Independence. The Declaration of Independence has laid the foundation for this great nation. There was a tough decision leading up to 19 April, 1775, and the decision wasn't really even made yet - but on that day, we could take no more. It wasn't about taxes. It wasn't about the Boston Tea Party. It was about the idea of freedom from that. What it was directly about was the escalation of violence from the other side, and tensions on both sides. It was about British Rule deciding that it was no longer safe for "The Colonists" to have powder and ball. They already made two massive seizures of powder and ball stores that we had. They were attempting to make the 3rd seizure of powder and ball. On 19 April, 1775, we decided that they weren't going to take that from us, and continue their path. We began the fight for freedom that day, and it continued for over a year, until we were in a place to declare our own Independence... That's what we celebrate today. This weekend would be a good time to sit down with your families and watch "Sons of Liberty." It will require about 6 hours of your time to go straight through it. It's a worthy investment of time, and it's a valuable lesson in history.
  15. Another great load, brother!
  16. Zapped it with some Cerakote this morning, and tossed the front sight post back in it. Goes on a barrel Friday.
  17. That's a solid load, right there.
  18. This is an excellent opinion article on the above info - and the guy that wrote it looks qualified to be saying something like that... http://baltimorepostexaminer.com/las-vegas-police-officer-cordell-hendrex-should-resign/2018/07/01
  19. Good one!!!
  20. I figured it would take you a minute to find that. I had no doubt that you would, though...
  21. Here's a good writeup on it all. http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2018/07/03/seal-who-shot-bin-laden-my-message-for-on-fourth-july.html
  22. ^^^ I knew he'd show up, and publicly flaunt his massive jealousy of such magnificent machining artwork...
  23. Special run (3 different ones) from Aero Precision. These are pretty badass!... https://aeroprecisionusa.com/july-builder-sets.html?sc_src=email_3671754&sc_lid=184424337&sc_uid=djONP5e7of&sc_llid=5936&utm_source=Emarsys&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Holiday+Sales+-+Aero+4th+of+July+Sale+(Retail)2018-07-03+19%3A06%3A00&sc_eh=43b8238c5b3a6fbe1 Small-frame or Large-frame, you pick it.
  24. Gotta be kidding me. More "Coward of Broward" kinds stuff went on... http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/07/03/las-vegas-cop-froze-with-fear-as-gunman-murdered-dozens-body-camera-footage-shows.html Sure seems to me that these guys were taking their sweetass time. If there's no Speed, then there's no Surprise. Without those two, there will never be the execution of the operation with "Violence Of Action." These guys were soup sandwich from initiation.
  25. Incredible skills, my good man! Fantastic work!
