  1. Special run (3 different ones) from Aero Precision. These are pretty badass!... https://aeroprecisionusa.com/july-builder-sets.html?sc_src=email_3671754&sc_lid=184424337&sc_uid=djONP5e7of&sc_llid=5936&utm_source=Emarsys&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Holiday+Sales+-+Aero+4th+of+July+Sale+(Retail)2018-07-03+19%3A06%3A00&sc_eh=43b8238c5b3a6fbe1 Small-frame or Large-frame, you pick it.
  2. Gotta be kidding me. More "Coward of Broward" kinds stuff went on... http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/07/03/las-vegas-cop-froze-with-fear-as-gunman-murdered-dozens-body-camera-footage-shows.html Sure seems to me that these guys were taking their sweetass time. If there's no Speed, then there's no Surprise. Without those two, there will never be the execution of the operation with "Violence Of Action." These guys were soup sandwich from initiation.
  3. Incredible skills, my good man! Fantastic work!
  4. Wow! VERY cool find, SS!!!
  5. I saw that - bastards...
  6. The patriotic holidays bother me, when people don't understand the reason for the holiday in the first place - but only see it as another couple days off work. That gets me. Example, yesterday at work. We transitioned to 4-10s for work, so we work Monday~Thursday. Off Friday~ Sunday. It's pretty badass. So, yesterday, this guy comes up and says "You guys working on Wednesday?" My reply was, "this building is closed on Wednesday, and nobody is working. It's Independence Day, man" He says back that he will be working Wednesday, so he can have Thursday off, and make it a 4-day weekend... Missing the whole point, dude - and obviously, Independence Day means nothing to you... That's the kid of stuff that get me...
  7. PSA is solid on 5.56 stuff, man.
  8. That's very damn awesome, right there.
  9. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!!!
  10. ^^^ That is SO fucked up.... You guys are sadistic.
  11. We don't do that. It's just straight field castration here, bro.
  12. There are times when the Steri-Strips just won't get it done!
  13. We can go over as much as you want, brother, and do as much training as you want. In a past life, I've been through a whole lot of first-response-type training, as well as much, much more. We can do whatever you want, as far as that goes...
  14. Fantastic results from it - that is NICE! Very well done.
  15. Anyone that fuks up out here and commits gross negligence and safety violations that threaten others - gets the Trouser Snake. If you can't learn from the Trouser Snake, you'll be awakened to a brand new learning technique that you won't likely ever forget in your lifetime. You'll be pummeled with the Purple 3ft Double Headed Jelly Dong until you can't even remember your own name...
  16. This dude right here is my main concern with comms - and why we need them. Not for calling a Cease Fire on the firing line, and making sure everyone shooting is safe... Basic range safety is a must out here - it's imperative to what we do. Once we start questioning our own basic range safety protocols - we need to question the qualifications and skills of the people on our range. Our fundamentals are solid, and our people are solid. That's the foundation that we need to maintain. If someone is questionable - they get the boot. It's only then that we'll need to use the commands of "Lock and clear all weapons and step behind the firing line. Wait to get rodded off the range..." At which point, we're done with them.
  17. The radios are for emergency communication, due to the distances on two events - long range day and high angle day. When I'm up in the hills and get hit by a fucking hidden rattlesnake in the rocks, I want to be able to call down and tell you, "I just got smacked by a western diamondback rattler, right lower leg, I've applied a tourniquet below the knee, and bled the bite-site out. Matt is helping me down. Get a fucking truck ready and call EMS, have them meet us at the casino..."
  18. No fucking Range Masters out here. Big Boy rules. We'll have a bunch of new guys out here (Matt is bringing a CREW from NC), so there will be safety briefs, and unknowns will get monitored for a minute. They adapt and conform. I'm not turning this thing into another static range with whistles and red/green paddles, "We're going COLD!!! Place ALL weapons on the bench, unload and clear chambers, and step AWAY from the benches when people are downrange!!!..." This isn't gonna be Rio Salado or Ben Avery here... Fuk that. That's not what this is about. It's about responsible gun handling with responsible gun-handlers, and Big Boy rules.
  19. D'oh!!!
  20. So, the $85k 840hp Demon was only to be 3,000 cars. And they did that, and it's done. The $65k Hellcat just wasn't enough, though. 707hp. Pssssssh. Whatever. For 2019, Dodge is making the Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye. Starts at $71k. 797hp... Meanwhile, with the other manufacturers...
  21. My initial thought was to do that, but there's not enough meat there to run a crossbolt through, unless you do cut into that barrel, and "channel" it for the crossbolts. I didn't want to cut into the barrel, which is why I didn't just get a taper-pin reamer and go that route. Set screws! Ding, ding, ding! ...when the light finally went off in my brainpan... I don't know if the barrel has any dimples on it yet - it get's here next week. If it's not dimpled, those two bottoms will get a dimple for this sight's bottom set screws, and the sides will just get snugged up. They'll all get a dab of red loc-tite, or Vibra-Tite, or just some Rock-Sett. Any way you slice it, this thing isn't gonna budge.
  22. I've got two of those PRI crossbolt units - Mk12 Mod 0 and the 16" 300BLK with the PRI rail - love those things, but I wanted a fixed front sight base on this M4-gery... The PRI: Sweet!
  23. Well, Armalite discontinued their clamp-on A2 Front Sight Base; I don't know when they did it, but it was an excellent piece of kit. Ive used two of them in the past, and they really work well. Alas, they're gone forever now... This is the old Armalite setup... you can still find old-stock, but even Optics Planet wants $75 for one. I used to pull these things for $40 on sale (no sight assembly in there)... So, I've got a project coming up, and I NEED an A2 FSB that I can use on a barrel. The search for clamp-on versions will eventually lead you to Daniel Defense. Wow! What a NICE A2 FSB!!! Another one that you'll probably find is the JP A2 FSB, that's got adjustable gas - again, Wow! What a nice piece of hardware! And... on both of those - Wow! What a PRICE on those things!!! So, into the parts boxes I go. I found an old Colt F-Marked FSB in there, complete. Still had the front sight post, spring, detent in it. Bayonet lug and front sling swivel, too. So, out with the front sight assembly, off with the sling swivel, and it went to work with me. I chopped off the bayonet lug and the sling swivel ears, and ran the bottom over the belt sander to smooth everything out. There are 5 holes in this thing already - the bottom hole was there between the sling swivel ears, because that's the hole they use to drill the gas port in the FSB. The other 4 holes are 2 each side, where the tapered pins went through. We're off to the races now - you'll need a #29 drill bit, an 8-32 tap, and (6 each) 8-32 set screws. You WILL need an automatic center punch, as well. You should have one of these in your toolbox, anyway, so you can "stake" your carbine endplates into their lockrings - one guy that was here called that "mangling" your parts. I just call it "the right way to do it..." Your choice - I had a bottom hole at the back, and also wanted one at the front - you mark it's proposed location with the center punch, drill it, and you're set. You should pass the #29 drill bit through all 6 holes - you'll find that it barely touches the larger sides of the tapered holes, and barely touches the bottom hole, that was already there - that's okay. You will need to drill up the smaller sides of the tapered holes, and that new front hole that you just made. After drilling everything, tap them all with the 8-32 tap. This is the front, where you'll need the new hole... These 6 set screws will lock this thing onto your barrel like nobody's business - have no fear of it shifting or twisting... unless you're trying to beat someone's a$s with your rifle...
  24. Here's a .jgp of it, brother. Save it to your hard drive; don't try to print it straight from this pic. I'll see if I can save it to a .pdf... EDIT - here it is as a.pdf, brother... 25yd_zero_Adjusted_for_36yd_zero.pdf
