  2. Cats are WAY SMARTER than we are, brother...
  3. Yeah, you're right. That's why Ford and Chevy can do this so much mo' bettah... Make sure you listen to the numbers he's throwin' out there. They are real numbers... http://www.thedrive.com/video/12838/launching-the-2018-dodge-challenger-srt-demon ^^^After you watch that embedded vid, make sure you check out Donut...
  4. One of those LaRue barrels is an 18", brother... I'm just sayin'...
  5. The Glitch Mob. Our Demons (Pair of Arrows Remix). Might be the perfect stripper song... from the strip club scene in Den Of Thieves...
  6. 1.17" OD vs 1.14" OD. Larger is commercial, smaller is mil-spec.
  7. That'll be perfect. From center of cam pin cutout, forward to gas port hole in barrel. + one more dimension. Pick up a standard gas tube off anything, and determine how much longer a gas tube is to it's end, after it's gas port. Those two numbers together will give you an exact length measurement that will work like a champ. Hold on - I have one right here - measurement coming right up. That additional length, from gas port in the gas tube to the end of the gas tube is 0.600". Add that to the distance of: center of cam pin cutout to center of gas port in barrel, and you'll have it perfect.
  8. White Oak Armament, brother. You'll have to call them. 309-376-2288
  9. There's alot going for the .260 Remington. First, it's based directly off the .308 Win cartridge, and it uses necked-down .308 Win brass (or necked-up .243 Win brass). Standard .308 mags will work just fine, no special mags needed. Since it's based directly from the .308 Win cartridge, you will be using a standard .308 AR BCG - no special BCGs with weird bolt faces. The .260 Remington has just a little more case capacity over 6.5 Creedmoor, a little more velocity because of that, and in the right hands that can mean it's a little more accurate. Ammo is not as off-the-shelf plentiful, like the 6.5C is, but that doesn't matter if you load your own ammo. If you do, you probably already have .308 Win brass sitting around, ready to go. RCBS makes a die set, for certain - I've already got it. I'm not sure which other reloading manufacturers make dies, though. Until very recently, if you wanted to make up a .260 Remington large-frame AR, you had to have the barrel made by a custom barrel maker. A few months ago, that all changed, when Wilson Combat released their .260 Rem barrels. They only have two of them (20" and 24"), but they are both Match Grade barrels. I already have a Wilson Combat match barrel on my .338 Federal, and I can say it's a damn great barrel. https://shopwilsoncombat.com/260-Remington/products/1038/ Well, earlier today, LaRue Tactical announced that they are selling their .260 Remington barrels separately (before, you could only get one if you bought a .260 OBR). LaRue will be selling their 18" and 22" barrels. https://www.larue.com/products/260-combo/?utm_source=LaRue+Tactical+Newsletter&utm_campaign=dcf2f1cdbb-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2018_06_30_07_32&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_eca3a85af8-dcf2f1cdbb-309817289&mc_cid=dcf2f1cdbb&mc_eid=bd9d7dbc01 This is VERY good news, for everyone - the .260 Rem ARs are becoming more "in demand," and hopefully, this is a sign that more manufacturers will take notice of, and start getting more barrels out there... (Hey, Faxon! Are you guys listening?...)
  10. JBM Ballistics "Trajectory" calculator (not the "simplified" version). You'll need to play with your numbers and find the best "Maximum Point Blank Range." That calculator will allow you to input your vitals diameter (5", 7", whatever). Check the block that says "Zero at Maximum PBR" so that data gets included in the output chart. MPBR will be a distance, say something like 364 yards. Say you chose a vitals diameter of 5". That means that you can dead-hold your sights out to 364 yards, and the projectile isn't gonna leave that 5" area during it's flight...
  11. Wasn't Ron re-zeroing one of his guns to 36 yards at the last Fall Shoot? Here's the math behind it. I know I've told you guys about the 7-yard hold on the EOTech before.
  12. Finally finished the last thing I needed to on that rifle. Received the AP 30mm mount a few weeks ago, and just painted it last weekend. That was the last thing it needed.
  13. That is the Armalite 13.5" barrel on their website. Barrel extension external dimensions are the same. Note that the barrel listed on their website is NOT 1:8" twist, and that's a typo on their website. It IS 1:10" twist. That rifle above is all Aero Precision upper/lower/rail (DPMS pattern parts) with a complete Armalite AR-10 operating system and recoil system. Armalite barrel, brake, BCG, receiver extension, buffer, buffer spring. Runs like a beast, too. That rail you have would work perfectly on the AP upper receiver.
  14. Wolverine Durashocks, brother. You could walk double that and be just fine. That's what I wear...
  15. Y'all go ahead and laugh. Fight one of these things in a hand-to-hand Battle Royale To The Death, and you'll change your minds. Quick-like, too. Lest you forget...
  16. DAMNIT! THIS IS WHY WE WEAR STEEL-TOED BOOTS WHEN DOING SHIIT LIKE THIS, MEN!!! Damnit...
  17. Oh, that one is done. I suggest we remove it now, right above the ankle... This is gonna end up worse than Shibi's fingernail, isn't it... Fuk me...
  18. He's good. WAY good. Have you LOOKED at some of yourselves in the mirror?...
  19. This is the safest way to deal with beavers, that I've ever seen. This guy below in the vid is an accomplished hog hunter on the Grendel forum, and works farms to get rid of hogs. He's a great night hunter. I'm warning you now, don't ever think you can "fight a beaver." That shiit just doesn't work...
  20. The one I tangled with was 42 lbs, once we got it back to the team room and put it on the ruck-scale. And it was possessed. Demonic Fury. There's no way in HELL I'd ever want to mess with one bigger. 60 lbs,... 106 lbs!!! Fuk THAT. That's as big as a first-year Rottweiler, but with a tail that can knock you into next week!!! HELL NO!!!...
  21. Since the rail is discontinued, and you found one - what's it threaded for? Armalite or DPMS? It's one or the other. That right there drives everything else on your build right now. Sounds like you want to build this: That's a 13.5" barrel, midlength gas.
  22. You can can the whole handguard setup and add a free-float handguard to it. That will give you the most flexibiliy, and isolate the barrel from any tension you would put on it with standard handguard setups. For a stock option, there are many. If you need more cheek riser adjustment, I'd suggest one of these. I picked one up recently, and it's quite nice. https://www.abarms.com/A-B-Arms-Urban-Sniper-Stock-USS-p/abauss.htm
  23. This one just popped up...
  24. Been watching Leo for a couple years - probably seen everything he's done. He is a ... Badass.
