I will give him credit for admitting he was wrong but damn..........talk about an insensitive government. Any bets whether he looses his job?

Of all the people on the civilian side of the government that should know better it should be him. Worse is the fact that he served with an elite unit that he should have been proud to claim......maybe he is just confused as to what exactly Special Forces is..........

I bet he won't lose his job.

 

He'll receive an award from Brian Williams and Hillary Clinton, for being so brave in the face of (no) adversity...narrowly beating out Bill O'Reilly for the award.

Hey the guy completed Ranger school, he had the Tab... just never was assigned a unit so are we slitting hairs here and he did corect the mistake within a short period which to me says he knows what is right and wrong I would cut him a little slack not much but  little.....

There is a big difference between being tabbed and being in battalion, one is a school, the other is a way of life. Now it's been 30 years since I was around but I doubt it has changed much in that respect.

I still don't understand why he didn't think his service in the 82nd was enough to "Bragg" about? ???
