Other than that, it seems to work just like the factory one. I have not heard of one of these ever breaking before. Maybe someone has and can let us know where it actually broke? Looks like its got beef in the right places.The only ones I hear of breaking is when some one drops the hammer on it when the upper is off or shot gun ed. I think that can also break the pin support . Have not heard of one breaking on a AR 308.You can paint it ,if you don't like the color .
