  Thats an interesting idea . I'm going to check out Wally world , even though I just don't like to go in there . Hell with that , I'm sending the Wife on a mission . LOL

I was first going to staples but they didn't open till 10 (I was there at 9) maybe hobby lobby?

  I may just do the Stocks on my NEF 45-70 , the Bluing looks too good , its a brand new rifle , I've had it for over fifteen years in the box, the Black syn. stocks , I really don't care , the paint will be easy to remove from them, if I don't like it .( or I screw it up , lol )

 I think I will start with Gray , as a base coat . What you guys think ?

black stock? Why not start with the black? I was thinking about banding mine before I painted it but then I remembered the bluing is garbage and that was 1/2 the reason for painting it. But yea if your going for darker I would go dark light then back to your dark.
